Nick~ Given that Harley tossed and turned most of the night. I'm surprised to wake and find her missing from my arms. Nick~ Harley is none the wiser as I slip back into the room. I'm surprised, given the screech the oak door made as I eased it closed behind me. At the end of the bed, I shed my jeans, laying them across the ornate wooden trunk. There's still too much light in here for the Princess; I go over to the window and pull the tie-backs loose. Thick maroon blackout drapes give a swoosh as they come together. A seashell night light on the wall comes to life in the darkness; I hadn't noticed that last night. She turns as I throw back the covers with a groan, causing me to freeze mid-air before lowering my body onto the bed. It's only a moment before she squirms herself back into my arms, taking a deep breath. Soon, the bump will separate us, so I pull her as close to me as I can.
