RAINE’S POV.

First, time is frozen and then just as I’m about to snap at him, Cyril threw his head back and laughed.

The sound is beautiful and entrancing and it reminds me of a scene in his first movie. I replayed that movie more than ten times when I was fifteen.

“I’m gay?” His words held back a scoff, but the amusement in those eyes was glaring back at me.

I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around myself. “Don’t think I don’t notice things.”

“From when you and my mother got married, you have slept in separate bedrooms until she went missing and since then, there’s not been one lady in this house apart from me. Besides…” I paused, not sure if I wanted to let him know how much I knew.

Cyril didn’t give me the chance to continue as he took two steps forward, and his lips parted open.

“Not everyone is a teenager with raging hormones that they can’t keep under control, Raine. But I’m sure G****e can give you a breakdown of my past relationships.”

I don’t bother to hide my scoff. “Oh, G****e? I’m sure they would mention that you are currently married to Indie, but surely they don’t know that she’s been away from this house for four years, right?”

Since my mother married Cyril, not only was their marriage sudden, but three months after making him my legal guardian, I came back from school to find my mom gone.

No message, no calls. Just a note telling me she would be back once she’s changed, and Cyril would take care of me.

I was sixteen then, and in the last four years, my mom was on a mission to beat Jimmy Hoffer’s record.

“You won’t go to college, you won’t take internships, and now you come up with conspiracy theories?”

I chuckled. Aside from spending two years in a boarding school, I have spent the last two years arguing with Cyril, and I knew he wasn’t going to win this time.

“Last I checked, you don’t need a degree to be a millionaire. You just need to have this…” I made a dramatic show of waving my hand around his face.

With sharp green eyes and a perfectly chiseled face, Cyril made history even before he was twenty-five. He had also stayed on the top list of the most handsome men for more than ten years.

Yet, when he was 27, Cyril married my mother, who was ten years older than him. Ten fucking years.

Did they think the whole world was blind?

“Besides..” I started and then gave him a cheesy grin. If he found me funny, his face didn’t give it away, but I like that I have his attention.

I loved having his attention.

“My mom isn’t into women, Cyril. There’s no way you both got married for some silly love story.”

His hands were still in his pockets as he closed the gap between us. Standing before me, I can feel those familiar shivers rushing through my body.

God, I hated the control this man had on me.

Then, without any warning, he uses his right finger to hold my chin up so that I have no choice but to stare into his eyes.

“That’s all you could come up with, huh? That I’m gay?”

I swallowed.

He’s too close. Closer than all his TikTok edits that I always watched before going to bed. Closer than the distance my brain could handle, but I still managed to reply.

“Yes. There’s no need to hide it from me.”

Okay, fine. My mom wasn’t even into women. But that was the only explanation that made sense. Since I was smart enough to tell right from wrong, I knew that men with power liked to take. They liked to take what girls like me didn’t want to give.

Cyril was not like that.

That in itself was hard to believe. But staying celibate for four years was even more impossible.

My stepfather was gay, and I was going to use this knowledge to my advantage.

“Did your ‘little boyfriend’ even make you cum?”

It took me a second to process his words, and when I did, I pushed back at him and shot him a sharp glare.

“That’s none of your business,” I snapped back at him.

“Unless you are interested in him, of course.”

Cyril chuckled, and the sound sent shivers down my spine. I can still feel some of the heat from before, and with the way he’s staring at me, I can’t help but squirm a little.

“That’s a no, then.” He declared. “Thirty minutes and the puppy couldn’t get you to orgasm?”

Embarrassment settled deep in my chest. He’d been watching. And the thought that he must have been watching before he entered the greenhouse made me even hotter.

“I—”

“Pathetic.” Cyril scoffed, stepping even closer until his hard chest brushed against mine. “I’d have you screaming in half the time.”

I gasped, and my body shivered as his fingers trailed up to my jaw, grazing it so lightly that I sucked in a sharp breath.

“This is what you wanted, right?” His voice was different from the one on-screen now. Now, it was dark and controlled. “Parading around my house in these bikinis?”

I shivered, heat spreading through me. I should have said something. But the way he was looking at me made my throat clamp up.

My body felt too hot, my skin too tight. I wanted to move. I wanted to tell him to stop.

But I couldn’t. A part of me had secretly hoped this would happen for so many years. Now that it was happening. Now that I had pushed Cyril enough, I couldn’t stop him.

“I think you like it,” He mumbled, his breath hot against my ear.

“Knowing I’m watching. Knowing exactly what you do to me.”

Raine’s point of view“Okay, be honest,” I said, tugging at the sleeves of my graduation gown while facing Cyril. “Does this make me look... I don’t know, lumpy?” His arms were folded across his chest, looking so damn good in that dark shirt rolled up to his elbows. His green eyes analyzed me slowly, and his lips pulled into that cocky smirk that made my insides twist.“You’re glowing,” he said in a sexy baritone. “And no, your baby bump is not ruining your outfit.”I frowned down at my stomach, cradling the tiny swell with both hands. “I feel like a marshmallow.”Cyril stood from where he sat on the bed, walked over, and put both hands on my waist. “You begged me to put this baby in you, and now you’re complaining?” he murmured, pulling me closer.I smacked his chest playfully. “I was joking. You’re supposed to do the thinking for both of us.”He laughed and kissed the side of my head. “Well, my thoughts say you look so good that your gown deserves to be lifted... so Daddy can give

  • Breaking Daddy's Rules   191. Will You Marry Me?

Raine’s point of viewThree blissful months had gone by, and I’d finally settled into a new kind of normal… or at least, as normal as my life could get. My mom was behind bars, Talon was out of my life and MIRAÉ had really taken off. I’d just launched my latest collection, and for the first time, big names were repping my brand. Within twenty-four hours, nearly every item on our website was marked sold out.“You’re killing it,” Chloe said, her orange locs bouncing as she twirled in front of the mirror. “I told you this line was going to explode.” “You really did,” I laughed, setting down my champagne glass. “I still can’t believe it.”Tyler walked over and gave me a side hug. “You deserve it, Rae; every single stitch of success.” His hazel eyes were glowing with pride. I felt a little misty. Then Chloe smirked. “Okay, so, listen…we are not ending the night like this. There’s an after-party, you have to come. No excuses.”“I’m exhausted,” I groaned, flopping onto the sofa in the offi

Raine’s point of viewThe front door creaked open and the familiar sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the hallway. My heart did a little flip even before I set my eyes on him. Then I heard his voice. “Something smells nice…”My head peeked out from the kitchen, already grinning. “You’re back.”Cyril’s green eyes met mine, and his lips tugged up in a perfect smile that still made me weak in the knees“Hey, baby.” He stepped in fully, taking off his coat and hanging it on the coat rack near the door.Just as I approached him, Zayne popped out of the living room, wearing an apron that was way too big for him. “Perfect timing! We’re making dinner,” he said, dramatically waving a wooden spatula in the air. “You’re just in time to help.” Cyril raised a brow and glanced around. “Family dinner or cooking show.”I laughed and tossed a dishtowel at Zayne. “Go help set the table, clown.”Cyril walked over and leaned down to kiss my cheek, his hand brushing gently against my back. I caught hi

  • Breaking Daddy's Rules   189. She Begged For It

Cyril’s point of viewWe pulled into the driveway, Raine and I stepped out with our hands wrapped around the other. The second we opened the door, we saw Zayne and Aaron already waiting for us in the hallway. Raine’s light brown hair whipped behind her as she ran straight into the kid’s arms. “Zayne,” she breathed, clutching him. “I’m so sorry you had to go through all that.” Zayne looked like he wanted to disappear. The poor kid was shaking.“I should be the one saying that,” he muttered, hugging her tight. “I didn’t know what to believe, and I said some dumb shit. You did the hard part; you stayed and convinced everyone. I just ran away like a coward.” “Hey,” I said, stepping forward. “Don’t ever call yourself that again.”He blinked at me, then nodded slowly.Aaron finally cracked a grin. “I’ll admit it, Raine. You shocked the world today. Even got that fucker governor to sit his nosey ass down.” Raine wiped her face and turned, leaning into my side. I wrapped an arm around he

  • Breaking Daddy's Rules   I Love You.

Raine’s point of viewCyril hurriedly bent me over, my hands resting on the car seat in front of me. Kneeling before me, he dragged my soiled panties off and pushed his face into my pussy. I gasped as he nuzzled my slit before settling on my clit. Each lap of his tongue stoked the desire in me. My body quivering as my hips rocked his face vigorously. His warm breath against my thighs and his skilled tongue working its magic, a wave of orgasmic pleasure tightened in my core. "Ohh fuck yess!" My body arched, and my legs clutched his head, holding him in place as I came all over his face.Cyril was on his feet seconds later. His face was drenched. His tongue ran along his lips, tasting my juices before he smiled. “You taste heavenly.” His voice was hoarse and I replied with a sly smile. Not giving me a chance to think or breathe, Cyril led me to the hood of the SUV and pressed against the cold metal. Standing behind me, he rubbed his erect dick up and down my pussy and ass. The imag

  • Breaking Daddy's Rules   187. I Broke Every Rule.

Raine’s point of viewThe quiet that lingered after my words was short-lived, broken by a wave of gasps as reporters caught sight of the person who had just entered.Indie was being led onto the stage in cuffs and just seeing her made something inside me crack. For the first time in what felt like years, I felt like a daughter again. Not because she deserved it, not because I’d forgotten her wrongdoings, but because somewhere deep down, a part of me still wanted her to look at me like I meant something—anything at all to her. Cameras clicked like crazy. Reporters shouted questions, trying to make sense of what they were seeing. I had to hand it to Jamie for doing such a good job finding her this fast and bringing her here just at the right time. My eyes remained on Indie. She seemed older, thinner, and her eyes were heavier. But her chin was still lifted, her ego not chipped in the slightest. I didn’t know if that made me sad or sick. I stepped forward towards the mic again. “Ever
