Chapter 27

My peaceful sleep was disturbed when I heard voices outside. What's happening? It's still early. What are they fussing about outside? I got up and approached the door to the living room. I stopped for a while because my head hurt and I felt a little dizzy. I was about to open the door but I stopped because I heard a scream.

"The Alpha! The Alpha is here! The Alpha is home!"

I looked at the closed door. so he's here. I tightened my grip on the doorknob then looked at the wall clock hanging on the wall. It says there that the time is already 9 am. I shook my head and sat down on the sofa. I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling.

I stayed up late last night. Lauren's treatment lasted until the night and I'm just at aunt divina's house waiting. She told me that that was so far the hardest treatment that she had done, especially that Lauren is a human, her body is delicate and fragile so she needs to operate her with too much gentleness and care. I would have liked for Lauren to he
