The servants immediately bowed down when I entered the palace door.

"Sir Jacob."

"Good day Sir Jacob."

I nodded to them one by one to respond to their warm greetings. I walked quietly on the marble floor here in the palace. I looked around, it's still the same as before and not a single one has changed. Dark and cold, those are the two things that are immediately noticed when anyone enters the palace. I took a deep breath when I was in front of the giant door. I barely adjusted my clothes then knocked three times. When I didn't hear a response from the other side of the door, I grabbed the doorknob and went inside. I was greeted by a cold wind. If it's cold outside, it's even colder inside my brother's office.
