Chapter Sixteen

Hurt:

Arkyn pushed forward forcing the shift, he needed to tell them. He needed them to stop. He saw the arrow going for her. The loud popping and locking of his bones filled the air along with the whistle of doom. He was standing naked now in human form watching the arrow sail through the air towards the jet black wolf. It was too late his mind screamed as he raced towards the wolf. She turned, seeing him and went to square off with him. Her teeth snarled at him as she growled ready to right.

“Move!” He yelled at her but it was too late the arrow hit her in her hind leg.

She let out a loud whimper as Arkyn got to her. He saw another arrow flying for her. He threw his forearm in front of her, the arrow piercing through his forearm. He whipped around looking at the guards on the wall.

“Stand down!!” He bellowed out, anger vibrating the woods around them.

“Alpha!” The word echoed along the wall as the guards dropped to their knees bowing.
