Beau sat on the couch playing with the stress ball in his hand. He was waiting for Ella to get there as she had called him to ask where he was and to stay there. She sounded really pisses off about something.
What had happened to her? Or was it Robyn? He sat up when that thought crossed his mind. Did James do something to her? He could not have. As much as he wanted to break his bones the day before, Colin had talked him out of it. They needed to play dumb so that they could protect Robyn. That was a logical reason for him.

Beau watched as Robyn cleaned the cut over Colin's back. He had flinched when she applied the antiseptic at first but soon relaxed. It was interesting to watch for Beau.
