Chapter Fifty Six

Beau watched the rain fall and form puddles on the ground. The grass  was almost being drowned by the water. He turned around and watched Robyn sleeping. She always loved the rain, it brought her peace. To him many times too,but not tonight.

Colin had told him that James was the one who was visiting Kiara and feeding her and Brett all the information. He had shown him the video of their visit.  He did not know how to tell Robyn about that. For Colin it had fed the fire of dislike for his father. He had talked Colin down from confronting James. Colin was going through a lot at the moment.

There was a loud thunder clap that startled him. He heard Robyn wimper and went to the bed.

He cuddled her while running his circles in her hair. "Shhhh. It's okay. I'm here." He cooed at her. 

Then another thunderclap sounded, louder than the first and Robyn sat up opening her eyes.
