“Why don't we talk about this the dinner with my father” he pleaded?

I really wanted to be by his side, kiss him and hold his hands, but it seemed like it was impossible to have them all.

“Okay” I answered as I stared into his eyes.

I wished he could come closer and hold me tightly, but he didn't.

He just nodded.

I returned my gaze to the Alpha as his voice rose.

“You should have your sit Lady Delilah. You've been amazing today” he said, commending lady Delilah

She smiled brightly as she settled on a chair. Some other guests from the royal blood, although I couldn't recognize joined the table.

“It's been a while we had dinner in the house with the royal family. Let's toast to more of this” the Alpha said as he turned to Lady Melissa who was by his side. However, his eyes never left Melissa while he was talking.
