Queen Ashani’s Palace:

Dika glared at Vyrelen with everything in her, her hands clenched into fists at her sides. In a flash, she slammed her palm down on the table so hard that the wood groaned under the impact. The table didn’t break, but the force of her anger was clear. She then pointed one of her fingers at Vyrelen, her eyes burning with fury.

"I only did that to win so I could see my friend, which you and your useless guards at the gate refused to let me do," Dika spat, her teeth gritted. "What did you expect me to do at the last minute? Let your ugly ass win?" She scoffed, shaking her head.

Vyrelen’s grin faded. His expression turned dark, his jaw tightening as he slammed his hand against the table. Unlike Dika’s hit, his strike shattered the wood into pieces, sending plates and cups crashing to the floor.

"Did I ask to be kissed?" Vyrelen bellowed. "I was minding my own business, humoring you in that pathetic excuse of a fight, and then you—" h

❤️ Blood That Remembers ❤️He gave her a real smile not just any how smile but a true, honest smile that reached his eyes. “I’m really happy you got your wolf back, My Nightfire,” he said in a soft, warm voice.Nyxoria smiled back at him, her heart swelling at his words. But then his next question came.“But, did you remember anything?”Her smile faded just a little, and she slowly shook her head. “No, not yet. But Daisy is here now, and I believe she came to keep her promise. She said she would help me remember, and I think that’s why she is here.” Nyxoria paused, glancing up at him with a teasing glint in her eyes. “Aren’t you even going to ask me how I got my wolf back? I mean, you of all people know that I was wolfless.”Tharros opened his mouth to answer, but he didn’t get the chance. A knock sounded gently on the door, interrupting them, and at the same time, Dika stirred beside Nyxoria, blinking awake.“You can come in, the door’s not locked,” Tharros said, already knowing who

❤️ Of Shadows and Scent ❤️Tharros Castle:Neither Tharros nor Vyrelen looked shocked when Daisy appeared right in front of them, as if her sudden arrival had been expected all along. There was no panic in their eyes, no surprise on their faces, just that usual calmness that came when you were used to chaos knocking at your door.Daisy lowered her head slightly in greeting, her voice steady but holding a hint of curiosity. “You’re not surprised to see me, are you?” she asked, eyes flicking between both men. “It almost feels like you knew I was coming.”Vyrelen raised his shoulders in an exaggerated shrug and then lazily pointed in Tharros’s direction. “I mean, you know who the Emperor is," he said with a crooked smile. “Does anything really surprise you Daisy? Or should we just pretend to act shocked to see you? Because if you need me to act shocked, I can give you my own version and even throw in Tharros own for free.”Daisy gave him a slow eye-roll that said she wasn’t in the mood f

❤️ Born in the Dark ❤️Tharros Castle: Moments AfterTharros and Vyrelen made their way back to the garden where Nyxoria and Dika were supposed to be waiting. Their steps were quiet, their expressions thoughtful. They had just returned from the dungeon, where the body of the late King Oberon, cold and lifeless, was and true to Tharros words Oberon's heart was missing. As they walked towards the place Oberon's body was, Vyrelen broke the silence. “Do you think you know who came into the dungeon and took it?”Tharros didn’t answer right away. He stopped walking once he was close to the dead body and closed his eyes slowly, and took in a deep breath through his nose, like a wolf sniffing the air for danger. A moment later, he opened his eyes again, sharp and alert.“There’s a scent, faint, almost like it didn’t want to be noticed,” Tharros said, his voice low. “But I caught it. It’s a female.”Vyrelen’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Could it be Bana?”Tharros snorted and shook his head, clear

He shook his head slowly, disappointment clear in his face. “Nasaria, stop lying. You’ve had it with you all this while, and you know the truth. If I don’t return that egg shell to Nyxoria, and with Tharros by her side, I will not survive what’s coming because that is what I exchanged for my life.”“You’re always saying that,” Nasa snapped, her tone sharper now. “Always making everything about Nyxoria. You talk about her like she’s the sun and we’re all just meant to burn in her light.”She scoffed again and looked away. “Anyway, I saw that thing in your chamber a few months ago. I liked the way it looked. It’s just a dumb, worthless piece of trash. I didn’t think it m

❤️ Blood and Distrust ❤️An Unknown Palace:“Yes, my Lord,” Lady Bana said with a slight bow.Myrrak waved his hand in a lazy, dismissive motion, and without saying another word, Lady Bana lowered her head once more and quietly left the chamber. As soon as Lady Bana left, Queen Lynn's face tightened into a deep scowl. She turned away from Myrrak, her steps quick as she put a little distance between them. Her back was straight, her arms folded tightly across her chest."You want her alive?" she asked, not turning to face him. "Why? Don’t tell me you’ve started having feelings for her.”Myrrak sighed and walked toward her, his footsteps soft against the smooth stone floor. When he reached her, he stepped around to stand in front of her, forcing her to look at him.“Lynn,” he said gently, brushing a few strands of her hair away from her face, his fingers light as they touched her cheek. “Why would you even think like that? You’re the only one who has a place in my heart. You know that. I

❤️ Myrrak ❤️An Unknown Palace:“He’s not dead,” Queen Lynn said with a straight face, her arms folded across her chest. “He’s the Emperor now.”Myrrak didn’t respond immediately. He stood still, staring at the wall as if he could see right through the wall. His expression shifted slightly, thoughtful and uncertain.“Why would he change his name to Tharros?” he asked after a long silence, more to himself than anyone else. “I don’t understand it. What’s the point of a new name when you are still alive?”Queen Lynn gave a half shrug. “I don’t know. Maybe he wanted to start fresh in his life… or maybe he wanted to bury who he used to be so that the world would forget who he was." She responded.Myrrak turned slowly and looked at Lady Bana, who was still kneeling on the ground.“You can get up now, Bana,” he told her gently. “You’ve been on your knees long enough.”Lady Bana let out a quiet sigh of relief and slowly rose to her feet, adjusting her dress slightly. Just then, Myrrak’s gaze

❤️ The Emperor’s True Name ❤️An Unknown Palace:Lady Bana appeared quietly in the long hallway of the palace. Her steps were fast, determined, and she didn’t bother looking at any of the guards standing watch. Some of them greeted her out of respect, but she didn’t respond, she had only one goal in her heart, and she was trying to move fast before Queen Lynn would sense her presence. She got to the end of the hallway, then turned right where the corridor met a bare wall. Without hesitating, she touched the wall, and her whole body slowly sank into it like it was water. She entered a hidden chamber, quiet, wide, and strange in its beauty. A large empty table sat in the corner with a single chair facing a mirror. The room had no windows at all, yet when one looked up to the ceiling, the sun could be seen shining brightly as if the sky itself was captured inside the chamber. It was clear that powerful magic had shaped this place. In the center of the room was a massive bed, grand, with

Dika waited until they had fully walked out of sight before slowly getting up and moving to sit where Tharros had been just moments ago, right beside Nyxoria. She didn’t even say a word yet, but Nyxoria tilted her head slightly, narrowed her eyes, and spoke first.“What is it? Just spit it out already,” she said, her voice calm but direct.Dika blinked, her brows lifting slightly in surprise. “Wow, that was fast,” she murmured.Nyxoria shrugged, a soft sigh leaving her lips. “You weren’t really here, I noticed it, Dika. Your mind wasn't really here. You smiled and you even laughed at whatever Vyrelen was telling you, but your mind was somewhere else. And I could sense it right away. You haven’t been at peace since we sat down. So, just say what’s been eating you.”Dika hesitated a little, but eventually let

Tharros had mentioned earlier that Vyrelen was already there with Dika, and Nyxoria couldn’t hide the way her heart picked up speed at the thought. She almost started running, her bare feet brushing against the cool floor as the excitement bubbled in her chest, but Tharros gently caught her by the wrist and pulled her back.“Relax, my Nightfire,” he said softly, his hand warm around hers. “She’s fine. I told you, Vyrelen would never hurt her.”Nyxoria slowed down, though her worry didn’t fully ease until they finally stepped into the garden. The air outside smelled of flowers and early morning sun, and there, seated close together on one of the stone benches, were Dika and Vyrelen.Just like Tharros said, they were fine.Vyrelen stood the moment he noticed them and gave a short nod in greeting.
