Tyler had his father’s burnt corpse cremated further into ashes, spending his day arranging his funeral. He hadn’t broke the news to his mother yet.

He wanted to add the news of Dave’s death alongside the traumatic news whenever he breaks it to her.

He already had Ray on the job, working hand in hand with the private assassin he hired to remove his brother if he ever steps his foot into the city.

Tyler stood by the grave, watching as they worked on making a tombstone out of the grave.

His phone rang, disrupting his focused attention to the men’s work. He brought it out, knowing who was calling him by the anonymous name.

He walked away for some privacy, picking the call after. “Was my message delivered or I have to repeat myself?” Tyler’s cold voice goaded the moment he took the call.

“Pissed about the death of your old man?” A wry chuckle followed, evident in his tone the distress still bothering him, definitely from the physical assault received from Tyler yes
