Chapter 10 Disappointment and Ridicule

With lowered eyes, she tried to hide her disappointment and sarcasm. How could he possibly think she was the girl in that year? It was truly absurd!

"So, how is it? Do you like it?" Oliver's expressionless face made it difficult for Natalie to gauge his thoughts. Nervously and eagerly, she asked.

"Clank!"

A sound of fragile ceramics.

Oliver threw the porcelain spoon into the bowl, his face returning to its emotionless state. "It's not tasty."

Not tasty?

How could that be?

Did she make a mistake?

Natalie skeptically tasted a spoonful of the noodle soup in her own bowl. "I think it's pretty good actually."

Her skin was porcelain white and delicate, and when she stuck out her tongue, it looked like the most delicious strawberry. She had a face that embodied both purity and allure, and every movement she made was incredibly enticing.

The corners of Oliver's eyebrows furrowed, his gaze sharp like a cold arrow, "Go back to your room."

"If you don't want to eat, it's not my fault!" Natalie b
