Chapter 123 It's a Surprise

Scott's lips trembled as he hugged her tightly, whispering an "I love you" filled with pure gratitude and love.

"Thank you for saving me, Allie. You're the smartest and bravest woman in the world."

"I love you, Scott," Alexandra murmured, running her fingers through his hair.

With peace finally visible on their faces for the first time in months, Alexandra and Scott returned home, joined by Grandpa and Sebastian. Not long after, Sebastian had to return to Monaco to oversee the company, and Scott took the opportunity to show Allie everything about the place where he grew up.

They walked together through the mansion's grounds, where he'd spent countless hours as a kid, and he showed her his favorite spots. He also took her to the modest little house where he was born, back when his grandfather hadn't yet made his fortune, and shared stories from his early life.

"It's beautiful," Alexandra whispered, gazing out over the landscape from a small hill.

"Yeah, it is," Scott agreed.
