Black clouds exploded over the realm and rain like warm glass slammed down so hard we could not see three steps ahead.

I grabbed Ronan’s hand. “Run. That cave over there.”

We sprinted into a dry crystal cave. The entrance sealed with thick water the second we were inside.

Ronan shook rain from his hair. “We are stuck until this stops. You okay?”

I nodded. “Yes. But it came out of nowhere. Listen to that wind.”

He pulled me close. “We wait it out. Talk to me. Take my mind off the noise.”

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Heat That Took Over

My whole body lit up with need so fast I grabbed Ronan’s arm and almost fell.He caught me. “What is it? Talk to me.”I pressed against him. “It is the heat again but stronger. I need you right now. I cannot wait.”He looked around the open path. “Here? People might walk by.”“I do not care” I said. “Find somewhere or do it here. Just start talking and touching.”He pulled me behind a thick cluster of glowing bushes. “Tell me what you need first.”“Your hands on my breasts” I said. “Pinch them hard. Make it hurt a little.”His hands pushed under my top and squeezed. “Like this? Your nipples are already tight. I love how they feel.”I moaned. “Harder. Talk more.”“I love how you push into my hands” he said. “You are so ready so fast.”“Go lower” I told him. “I need your fingers inside me.”He slid one hand down and pushed two fingers in. “You are soaked. I love how wet you get.”I moved on his hand. “Curl them. Yes. Right there. Keep talking.”“You feel hot and tight” he said. “Come on

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Call That Would Not Wait

A sharp cry cut through the quiet and a young woman stumbled into our path clutching her chest.I ran to her. “What is wrong? Talk to me.”She looked up with wide scared eyes. “My mate. He went quiet. The light around him is almost gone. Please help us.”Ronan was already at my side. “Where is he?”“Just over the hill” she said fast. “I tried talking but he cannot hear me anymore.”We followed her at a run. On the other side of the hill a young man sat on the ground staring at nothing. His skin looked pale and the glow around him was thin.I knelt in front of him. “Can you hear me? What is your name?”He blinked slow. “Dain. Everything feels far away.”His mate dropped beside him. “I am Ryn. I kept saying I love you but it is not enough.”Ronan put a hand on Dain’s shoulder. “We fix this the way we always do. Talk and touch. All of us together.”Ryn nodded hard. “Tell me what to say.”I looked at her. “Say the truth. Tell him what you need. Tell him about his body and yours. Do not ho

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Challenge That Lit Us Up

Lirien appeared in a burst of white fire and pointed straight at us. “You two. Come with me now. The core wants a test.”I stood up fast. “What kind of test?”She did not smile. “A bond test. Strong pairs only. If you pass the whole realm gains light. If you fail the dark edges grow. Are you ready?”Ronan took my hand. “We are ready. Tell us what to do.”Lirien led us through a short tunnel into a round room made of pure crystal. The walls glowed soft. “Stand in the center. You must make the crystal walls reach full bright using only your bond. Words and touch. Nothing else. You have until the timer ends.”A thin line of light started moving around the room like a clock.I looked at Ronan. “We know how to do this. Start talking.”He pulled me close. “I love you. I need you. Tell me what you want first.”“Your hands under my clothes” I said. “Touch me like you mean it.”His hands slid up my sides and cupped my breasts. “Your skin is warm. I love how soft these feel. Your nipples are al

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Knock That Would Not Stop

A heavy fist pounded on the crystal wall of our private hollow so hard the whole space shook.I sat up fast. “Who is out there?”Ronan was already on his feet. “Stay behind me.”The pounding came again. A man’s voice shouted. “Please. It is Joren. Sela is fading. We need you now.”We opened the entrance. Joren stood there holding Sela who looked pale and weak.Ronan took her other arm. “What happened?”Joren spoke quick. “We were fine. Then she got quiet. The light around her dimmed. I cannot reach her with words alone.”I touched her face. “Sela. Look at me. Talk.”Her eyes fluttered. “Tired. So tired. The dark feels close again.”Ronan looked at me. “Same as before but worse. We have to do it together. All four of us.”We carried her inside and laid her on the soft ground. Joren knelt beside her.I said. “Start talking. Tell her everything. Do not stop.”Joren held her hand. “I love you. I need you. Come back to me.”Sela whispered. “Trying. Hard to speak.”Ronan pulled me close. “W

Take my mind off the noise.”I rested against him. “Remember the first big storm we ever faced back home? The roof leaked and we stayed up all night.”He smiled. “You made us laugh the whole time. Then we made love on the wet floor. Best storm ever.”“I want that feeling now” I said. “Even with the rain outside. Touch me.”His hands slid under my wet clothes. “You are cold. Let me warm you. Tell me what you need.”“Your mouth on my neck” I said. “Then lower. Talk while you do it.”He kissed my neck slow. “You taste like rain and h

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Heart That Hit Like Lightning

A sudden fire roared through my body so strong I dropped to my knees right in the middle of the path.Ronan caught me fast. “What is wrong? Talk to me.”I gripped his shirt. “I do not know. It feels like pure need. My whole body is on fire. I need you right now.”He looked around. “No one is near. Come with me.”He pulled me into a thick cluster of glowing trees. The second we were hidden I tore at his clothes.“I cannot wait” I said. “Put your hands on me. Talk. Please.”His hands went under my top. “You are burning up. Your skin is hot. Tell me what you need first.”“Your mouth on my breasts” I said. “Suck hard. Then go lower.”He pushed the cloth aside and closed his mouth over one nipple. “You taste so good. I love how hard this gets for me.”I moaned. “Harder. Use your teeth a little. Yes. Like that.”He switched to the other side. “I can feel your heart racing. You are so ready.”“Go down” I told him. “I need your tongue. Now.”He dropped fast and spread my legs. “You are soaked

  • Broken bond, burning desire   Chains and Questions

The second Ronan slammed the cell door, I knew the real fight was just starting between us.Cold stone pressed against my back as I slumped on the floor of the reinforced cell deep under Shadowfang’s main hall. My side burned from the fresh wound, blood still seeping slow through the rough bandage.

  • Broken bond, burning desire   Blood on the Snow

The snow turned red the second our packs slammed together, and the man I killed was there to watch me bleed.Fresh flakes fell heavy as we hit the river clearing. My wolves spread out fast, growls mixing with the rush of water. I gripped my blade tight, already tasting the fight.“Stay tight!” I sh

  • Broken bond, burning desire   Ghost from the past

The mate bond I thought I buried years ago was screaming back to life, and it wanted me dead.I staggered across the border into Stormridge territory with blood pouring down my side. Every step sent fresh fire through the gashes. They would not close. Normal wounds knit up fast for us, but these fe

  • Broken bond, burning desire   The Return

The night I locked eyes with a dead man, my whole world caught fire.I crept through the moonlit forest with Jax and Finn right behind me. Our boots barely made a sound on the damp leaves. Routine border patrol. Nothing special. But something felt off tonight. The woods were too quiet. No owls. No
