Author’s POV

Alpha Mason’s claws hovered just beneath his fingertips as he narrowed his eyes at the Rolls-Royce parked in front of Amber’s house. “Who the hell is that dude?” he thought out loud, the possessive growl in his wolf leaking into his voice.

The right door opened, and Amber stepped out, smiling from ear to ear. “Thanks for the ride.” She beamed.

“Don’t forget to call me next time you plan to visit,” Melvin said, leaning on the steering wheel.

“Sure, I will do that, I know how bus

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 163 THE CRAZY COP

Author’s POV The police officer stopped with Xavier just outside the interrogation room, both of them peering through the small reinforced window. Inside, the he-wolf was pacing like a caged animal, his veins popping, his muscles flexing, and a leather whip dangling loosely from his left hand. He tapped his foot impatiently against the concrete floor, the sound sharp and rhythmic. “What the hell are you waiting for out there?” The man growled, his voice carrying the deep, gravelly undertone of his wolf pushing close to the surface. “Bring the little shit in already.” The officer gave Xavier a rough shove forward. Xavier staggered into the room, catching himself on the edge of the metal table. He didn’t need instructions. The moment the man’s cold, predatory gaze locked onto him, Xavier sat across from him, clasping his cuffed hands together on the table to keep them from shaking. The cop shut the door behind him with a loud thud, leaving them alone in near-total darkness e

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 162 ARRESTED 2

Author’s POV “Don’t worry, Luna, I will take it from here,” a cop interrupted, stepping forward with calm authority. He positioned himself between Elsa’s mother and Isabella, broad shoulders squared, voice steady but firm enough to put them in their place. “Tell me where your daughter is,” he said directly to Elsa’s mother, eyes locked on hers. “She is one of the main suspects for attempted murder.” Elsa’s mother’s jaw dropped. Her knees buckled, and she staggered backward, nearly collapsing, but the officer caught her arm before she hit the ground. She stayed in his hold for a second, shocked and speechless, eyes wide and glassy, before straightening on shaky legs, still dazed. “Stop being so damn dramatic and just tell us where your daughter is, for fuck’s sake!” Cassie screamed, patience completely gone. “We don’t have time for this!” Elsa’s mother swallowed hard, blinking rapidly as if trying to wake up from a nightmare. “No… no wonder she was in such a hurry,” s

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 161 ARRESTED

Author’s POV When Amber didn’t answer right away, Xavier leaned forward as much as the cuffs and partition allowed, voice dropping low and rough. “Lackaday… what the hell are you doing here?” His eyes flicked down to the metal cuffs biting into her wrists, then back up to her face, confusion and something darker flashing across his features. “Amber? Talk to me.” The female officer exchanged a few clipped words with Luna Isabella and Cassie outside the car, something about procedure and jurisdiction, before climbing into the back seat beside Amber. She shoved Amber further inside with her hip to make room, then slammed the door shut. Amber stared straight ahead, throat tight. “I…” The words stuck, heavy and useless. Speaking felt like dragging rocks up her throat. She swallowed once, twice, then forced it out. “Just leave me alone.” Her voice cracked on the last word. She turned her head toward the window, fighting back the tears she had been holding in for what felt like hour

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 160 SUSPECT 2

Author’s POV Linda tiptoed to the door on silent feet, heart hammering so loud she was sure everyone could hear it. She pressed her eye to the keyhole and gasped sharply. Cassie stood outside with two police officers, one male and one female, both in crisp uniforms, faces stern. Linda spun back to Amber, her eyes wide with pity. “They are here,” she mouthed, the words so quiet they almost disappeared. “Police. Cassie brought police.” Before Amber could even process it, Cassie’s voice exploded through the door. “Open this goddamn door right this second, Amber, or I swear to God I’m breaking it down myself!” Another furious barrage of knocks shook the frame. “You think you can hide in there? You think we don’t know what you did? Open it!” Amber’s stomach dropped. Fear surged through her like ice water. She scrambled off the bed, body still aching from the mate-bond pain, and rushed into the bathroom. She splashed cold water on her face with shaking hands, trying to steady

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 159 SUSPECT

Author’s POV “What the hell… why did you guys let his parents in here? Are you out of your fucking minds?” The doctor yelled at the nurse who had just stepped into the room carrying a tray of instruments. Sweat poured down his face in rivulets as he continued shocking Mason’s chest, hands steady despite the exhaustion in his voice. The nurse lowered her eyes, cheeks flushing. “Sir, they… they wanted to see their son. I couldn’t, I couldn’t stop them. They are the Alpha and Luna. They insisted." “Take them out right now and stop acting like this is your first damn day on the job,” the doctor snapped, never taking his eyes off the monitors. “We are trying to save a life here. Get them out!” The nurse sighed, shoulders slumping, and turned to Alpha Gunnar and Luna Isabella. “Please… you have to leave,” she pleaded, voice trembling. “We are doing everything we can.” Isabella was sobbing uncontrollably in Gunnar’s arms, face buried against his chest, body shaking. Gunnar held her

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 158 IMPOSSIBLE

Author’s POV Cassie let out a small, sharp laugh that didn’t reach her eyes. “Oh, you mean her crocodile tears? Spare me. I know you know exactly where Alpha Mason is, so cut the bullshit and take me to him.” She tightened her grip on Elsa’s wrist like a vice, ignoring the way Elsa twisted and tugged, trying to pull free. Elsa sighed, the sound exhausted and defeated. “I just fucking told you, he is dead. Why are you still looking for him? What part of ‘dead’ don’t you understand?” Cassie rolled her eyes so hard it was almost theatrical. “If he is really dead like you claim, then where is the corpse? Because I don’t see a body. I don’t see blood. I don’t see anything except you two crying like you just lost your favorite toy. So either show me proof or take me to him. Now.” “I… I don’t know where the body is,” Elsa mumbled, swaying her trapped hand uselessly in Cassie’s iron grip. But Cassie only squeezed harder, she was stronger than she looked. Cassie shoved her free hand
