Chapter 88

“Why are you dressed like this?” She queried her husband who was blushing.

“What am I dressed like?” Alex directed back at her, trying to find out what was so bad about his dressing.

“Chef?”

“Chef,” Alex replied, laughing. Though Clara didn't know what was so funny, she joined Alex in his laughter.

Then when she followed him downstairs, there were different sorts of dishes on the table.

“Did you make all these?” she asked with her eyes wide open.

“Yes, I made it for you.”

Clara looked around to see if she would catch a glimpse of the chef or servants but no one was around. Then she remembered what happened before she slept.

The recall made her shy instantly, she only blushed and began to rush the food.

She began by starting to have a taste of everything while nodding with satisfaction.

“This is nice,” she said as she ate.

While she was eating, Alex exclusively looked at her.

Clara tried to tell him to join her but he refused saying things like “It was made specially for you.”
