Chapter 14

At the point when Kathy opened her lids, it was already morning. She pulled her hands and moved towards her eyes to impede the daylight coming out from between the window curtains. She slowly opens her lids. It was excessively bright, so it took a long time for her to adapt to the brightness and adjust her eyes. She stretched her arms and sat up on the bed. She was looking in the air, zoned out, when the memories of yesterday hit her with the force of a truck. She clearly remembers that man's death-dealing laughter when he pushed the barrel of his gun into her mouth. She furrowed her brows and swiftly sat up on the bed in fear. 

Where was I? 

Who were those men? 

Who had captured me here? 

What was going on? 

She thought as she was petrified beyond imagination.
