Chapter 28

Kathy woke from a deep slumber naturally. Half-cognizant, she wriggled her arm free and slapped at her bedside table out of her propensity in looking for her alarm yet frowned as she got vacant hands with nothing. 

There is no alarm here, where is my phone? 

She had the unsettling feeling in her psyche that she was absolutely uncertain, she was conscious or still sleeping. It was so difficult to pick one for her. Kathy feels absolutely something very similar. Her eyes feel so weighty that they're refusing to open, yet her psyche is cognizant after getting such a long nap on such a comfortable bed. 

Wait! The mattress felt bizarre; exceptionally softer than her normal one. Why was it not familiar to her? The air smelled a distinct smell of musky odor.
