Chapter 2

"Kathy, you may now get back to your work. My friends are there, and I'm certain you dislike to associate with us. So it's fine in the event that you proceed to do your own business." Bella said cheerfully, yet her words had a disdainful tone, in spite of the way that she had a little grin all over her face.

Kathy obediently gestured her head and bent down to collect her bag. Be that as it may, before she left, her gaze was drawn to the man who was all the while gazing at her with his ferocious gaze. She has a tempest in her heart and her eyes are loaded up with the pain of longing. She bats her eyelashes and deflects her look from that point.

Aaron remained there, gazing at her svelte, withdrawing back. As he watched her figure recede from view, his hands curled into a fist.

"Guys, how about we go? Kathy dislikes spending time with us. So it's alright, we can go." Bella came towards her friends as she hauled Aaron. "Darling, how about we go? I'm ravenous."

Aaron was all the while checking out Kathy's desolate back when Bella interrupted him. He deflected his look from her and participated in the discussion that his friends were having.

"How about we go, darling," Bella asked again.

Aaron, Matt, and Jane were friends from their high school, and they all knew one another quite well. Bella had gone along with them during her first year of college and before long turned into their friend on account of her relationship with Aaron.

Jane and Matt additionally like Bella more especially due to her carefree and pure personality. She generally assists them with their tasks and other work in college. Icing on the cake, she deals with everybody like an elder sister, so they very much like her company.

Bella is additionally from a renowned family, and these rich imps consistently keep up with their principles with regards to friendship. So it was not hard for Bella to join their group. All things considered, she is the eldest little girl of the Crystal family, who were perceived as the main five very rich people in the country.

But, Aaron is different. Despite the fact that he also belongs to a rich family, they never see his parents. Yet, his home and living standards and comforts are top notch, which causes everybody to accept that he is somebody that they can't meddle with. Nobody in the college dares to mess with him, also the Dean of the school is too reluctant to even think about messing with him. Yet, no one knows about his real identity.

"Bella I don't have a clue why you care about that ugly to such an extent. See, she even rejected you on your face and still, you are holding a grin. " Jane snarled at Bella's sweet behaviour with Kathy. She didn't care for Kathy on the grounds because she is so improvised and substandard. But she will not comprehend why Bella is continually being so pleasant to her. Regardless of the way that she is nobody in front of her, Bella's attitude toward her consistently puzzles her.

"Try not to say that Jane. That is exceptionally mean. You're saying she is ugly, however remember that she looks somewhat like me. So indirectly you are saying that I am ugly. " Bella snapped back at Judy.

"No, I don't - - "

"NO... YOU ARE NOT LIKE HER. She is nothing similar to you" Aaron yelled and interrupted Jane and Bella's discussion in the middle.

"Remember what I said, and in the event that you both still want to be my friend, then don't try to bring her up in front of me." Hearing their discussion, Aaron was frustrated and yelled at the two of them, making them flinch back in fear.

Bella's eyes got wet, "Darling, I'm sorry. I won't ever say that again. Don't be angry with me?" She attempted to hold his hands in order to quiet his anger. However, he yanked her hands and strolled past her. He even didn't look back when Bella was yelling at him to stop.

"She never looks like her," he mumbled and tightened the hold of his clenched hand out of resentment.

Kathy walks into school with the chilly breeze blowing against her cheeks which dried her tears. She is always like this, a petite, feeble figure. She detests herself. She is only a weakling. Maybe if she took the mental fortitude and told her feelings to Aaron, things would not be that way. It is possible that he will acknowledge her or reject her. Basically she will end this miserable state of hers.

Out of nowhere, reality hit her hard. She wheezed and shook her head, "No... Katherine... No, you will not think like that if Bella at any point figures about your feelings towards him, he will unquestionably make your life hell. You just need to try to forget about that asshole. He isn't intended for you. And you will never ever deserve him in this life." She said to herself as she wiped her tears with the back of her hand and walked gradually into the classroom.

"Kathy... Kathy!"

As she entered her classroom, she heard a voice and checked out the person who was calling her. A little grin shows up all over as she most likely is aware of the owner of the voice. That voice just only belongs to one person, Tina James, her absolute best friend and only supporter at Imperial High. Tina rushed to her and gave her a bear hug.

"I missed you, Darlo."

Kathy grinned at her infantile act.

"What's up, Tina. You simply took two days of leave, nothing else. Why are you acting like you just saw me after a long time? " she chuckled.

Tina sticks out her tongue and makes an angry puppy face, which makes Kathy chuckle again.

"Hey, tell me in case there's any college tattle I have missed in the last two days." She energetically applauded together and jumped on Kathy in anticipation.

This is Tina. She is a fanatical gossiper, and if anything happens in the college, she will be quick to know about it in great detail.

"Tina, you will never change." Kathy rolled her eyes at her and pulled her hands away, which circled around her neck.

"Come on, Darlo, just spit it out."

Kathy rolled her eyes at her again and went to her seat. Tina pouted and briskly followed her.

"Alright, I know you know nothing about this load of tattle stuff. So I will quiet down," she said as in an instant her face expression changed into dark. "In any case, tell me if that bitch and her jerk friend did something to you in my absence. " She asks and Kathy feels the blood surging out of her veins.

She knew Tina never liked Bella, however she is sweet. How should Tina not see it? she thought.

"Tina, don't call her that. She is likewise our friend. At Least just give her some regard when you mentioned her. "

Tina rolled her eyes and sat back in her seat. "Those dickheads won't deserve that."

Kathy let out a sigh. She knew Tina wouldn't do that. She is like a person who lets out all that's in her mind. She never thinks often about others while saying anything. She is a girl with a carefree personality, which Kathy consistently appreciated and felt envy towards. After Bella, she was the only friend she had in Imperial High, and she was more than glad that Tina was with her. She is a pillar for her, consistently supporting her in any difficult situations.

The bell rang,

Soon, the classroom was getting crowded with students. Kathy likewise sat down alongside Tina, yet what she saw in the following second frightened her.
