As I screamed his father turned and take in the situation. He and I ran to save him without looking here and there.
Then we heard an ear-piercing shattering voice of a chandelier as it hit the marble floor breaking into millions of pieces.
But before the glass could touch the delicate skin of the little kid I reached there and covered him with my body pulling him towards me.
We both are lying on the floor, my body is covering him completely. He started crying the moment I pulled him towards me. I raised my body a little to free the child from my hold.
His father came running to us and took his son in his arms. He asked him if he has got hurt anywhere. But he was fine. I took a breath of relief. He was crying as he got scared because of this accident.
