"Push"
Suddenly her screams curtailed as the room echoed with the crying of a baby. She loosened her grip relaxing a bit.
I slowly opened my eyes to find a small form lying on her heaving chest covered in her blood. The baby was crying continuously with its hand on her face.
The nurse came forward to take the baby with her to wipe it clean from the blood I guess.
"Congratulations, it is a baby boy" she shared the good news with us with a wide smile on her face.
I was happy for the baby but somewhere I wanted it to be a girl.
But let it be. I am happy for the baby as far as he is healthy and normal. I hope he brings happiness and peace to our lives.
