Part One - The Childhood Section

The very adorable little girl walked towards her neighbor's house who had just moved beside her house. She walked with a happy gaze while carrying a lunch that had been prepared by a middle-aged woman in her house.

"Morning Aunty!" she said with a smile on the face of the woman who was now standing in front of him.

Meanwhile, the woman stretched out her hand to give the supplies she was carrying. "This is for aunty. Sorry if the food is not as good as a five-star restaurant, but I guarantee it will be addicting!" she told the woman.

"You shouldn't bother," she replied uncomfortably. "Have you had breakfast?" she asked curiously, seen from the look in the eyes of a little child who seemed to be hiding something.

The little child shook her head. "Then, let's go in first. We'll have breakfast together inside!" she offered that child to join breakfast together.

But the child quickly shook his head slowly. "I've had breakfast," she refused gently.

The woman smiled sadly, sadly with the eyes of a childlike Reya. "I insist!" she said coldly, she took the boy's hand to have breakfast together.

In the dining room, Reya feels very awkward in the middle of a family he has only known for two days. "Sorry if my presence interrupts your breakfast all!" she muttered in fear as she lowered her head.

The husband and wife chuckled softly. "We are so glad you are here." said the 45-year-old man honestly, he was not at all angry with Reya's presence amid his family. "Oh yeah, this is my second child, her name is Raina Charlene Duttlof. Just call her Rain!" he said introducing the 22-year-old woman to Reya.

Reya smiled, she looked at the woman politely. "I'm Reya!" she introduced himself in return.

Raina Smiled Crookedly. "Wait... And that's my first child, his name is Luis Edduardo Duttlof!" continued Al-Barra, introducing their first child.

As for Luis, he doesn't care about the introductory session. When he was at the dining table area, he pulled out a chair next to his younger sister, right in front of the little girl he still didn't know his name. "Let's start at breakfast. Luis will lead to Prayer!" said Alana told their first child who immediately nodded.

After leading the prayer, they were busy with their plates, sometimes the girl silently watched the man in front of her. Somehow he was amazed to see the scenery in front of him that was so perfect. Even without realizing it, she ignored his breakfast because he was too focused on paying attention to Luis.

"I'm not a devil! So please, don't pay too much attention!" Luis opened his voice, he said it on purpose without looking at the person's face. Because honestly, he felt uncomfortable with the stranger's eyes.

Suddenly Reya was shocked, she immediately started pretending to be busy with his breakfast which was not touched at all. Even though he was still a child, he was not foolish to know who that man meant. After breakfast, he helped the woman clear the dining table. After that, she walked towards Luis, a man who seemed to dislike his presence in this house.

She stood in front of Luis who was now preoccupied with his gadget, who knows what the man saw made him curious. She sighed, then sat down beside Luis, who didn't seem bothered by his presence. "Uhm..." she muttered softly, then Luis glanced at the child beside him.

"I'm Reya, the child next to your house!" she kept telling the still silent Luis, wherever he was and what he was saying. "May I see what you see?" she asked for permission, but immediately lowered her head in fear when their eyes met accidentally.

Without getting an answer, the man stood up leaving himself who was now pensive. She smiled in disappointment when his existence was completely invisible, always like a pseudo-shadow. "I'll go home first, aunty," Reya approached the woman who was now watching the news on television.

Alana puts the tv remote on the sofa. She looked at Reya's face, which looked sad, he didn't know what the cause was but seeing that expression he was sad. "Do you have a problem?" Aluna held Reya's chin, she stared deeply at the face.

And without realizing it, clear white water came out of his eyes, he immediately wiped it so that it didn't look limp. "Not!" she answered. "Then I'll go home first." she again told Aluna who was now standing to escort the neighbor's child to the front door.

Before the little girl stepped out, she turned around to look at Aluna's beautiful face. "Please tell Luis, sorry if my presence bothers him. But you know, I'm just curious and want to be close to Luis. Nothing more!" she said confidently.

Aluna just laughed, she didn't think that the little girl had thought of his first child. "Aunt's child is like that, don't be offended..." she replied, and Reya nodded. "Luis is nice, but he doesn't want to talk to new people he knows he's like that with people he thinks are not important to remember!" Aluna said explaining how her son was.

Reya nodded. The 7-year-old girl felt guilty for thinking badly about the man she just met. "Then I'll go home first." she kissed the back of Aluna's hand then walked out of the area of Luis's house.

Inside his own house, the little eight-year-old sits watching cartoons. She felt bored now, especially at a time like this. She don't know, everything remains the same, it doesn't change every year.

She was lying on the soft sofa, not long after a woman approached him carrying a bowl of porridge that was still hot. The middle-aged woman smiled happily at the child she had been caring for since childhood until now. At least the kid is feeling happy now.

"Come on girl, wake up! I made your favorite porridge," said Dayu telling Reya who was still ignorant.

Then Reya sat on the sofa, she took the bottle on the table which had been filled with mineral water. Painstakingly and full of tenderness, this middle-aged woman occasionally feeds Reya while joking to make the atmosphere less tense.

"Oh yeah, tomorrow I want to make an omelet, okay?" the request was made to Dayu who immediately nodded. "Remember..."

"No vegetables!" Dayu cut Reya's unfinished words.

Reya smiled happily. Then she landed a brief kiss on the middle-aged woman's forehead.
