CHAPTER 21

The entire house was quiet, considering I had many noisy brothers the quietude was very unsettling but I understood why. I sat at the edge of one chair in the living room of my fathers house, roman sitting beside me as we both watched a rerun of friends on the TV even though our minds were completely off. Matias sat in another chair staring into space and completely ignoring our presence. He hadn't spoken a word since we arrived earlier in the morning. I could understand his pain, he was the closest to our father while the rest of us were rather distanced. He took everything father said as gold. Xavier didn’t really seem as bothered as his twin because he mad one move to comfort him whatsoever. Ace and Diego were not present because they had gone to see to my mother. I hadn't even seen her yet since the news was broken to me. Not that I didn’t want to but a part of me just didn’t know what to say. I couldn’t fathom her grief because I hated my father for most of my life.
