The entire house was quiet, considering I had many noisy brothers the quietude was very unsettling but I understood why. I sat at the edge of one chair in the living room of my fathers house, roman sitting beside me as we both watched a rerun of friends on the TV even though our minds were completely off. Camila I woke up with my head on something very hard with something as heavy as a log wrapped around my waist. I groaned as the alarm clock started to ring at that very minute. I opened my eyes wider and stare a round the room until my eyes landed on roman who lay beside me. He groaned when the sound of the alarm filtered into his ears. “shut that thing off” he shouted, rubbing furiously as his eyes. I chuckled and he turned his attention to me. He looked so cute with his bed hair and overgrown beard. “whats funny?” he asked, pulling me closer. I shook my head and smiled. He reached out and shut the alarm off. He pulled m closer until I was mushed against his chest . the door opened then and Xavier walked in. He screamed and shut the door. Matias was the first to leave the dinning room. He walked into the living room and flopped into one of the chairs with a loud huff. I looked away from my re run of mean girls and stared at him wondering why he was hunched in his chair like he’d been scolded. He looked at me and we stared at each other for a few seconds before he broke the silence. “i want a niece first” he announced with a sour face, i giggled. “whatever you want Matias” I replied. He shrugged, looking down at the couch and picked at it before looking up again. “but seriously is this what you want, I mean right now, don’t let anyone pressure you into doing it” he said with all seriousness. I woke up with a mild headache and a running nose. I felt my body shivering even though sunlight gushed through my open window. I reached up slowly and pressed the back of my palm against my forehead. It was burning hot. I was sick just as Roman predicted. I laid back on my pillow wondering what the hell I was going to do. Roman came in then already dressed in his navy blue suit with matching pants. He walked towards me and placed his palm on my forehead.“you are sick, caught a cold” he stated with a look that said I told you so. I rolled my eyes at him as much as I could manage. He chuckled and pulled me up to a sitting position before placing pillows around my head so that I could lean on them. I coughed loudly at that moment and groaned when I felt pain in my throat. “I’ll fix a hot shower for you now and make some soup”. he said ‘don’t move”. roman took off his suit jacket and walked into our bathroom. I felt better waking up the next morning, Roman’s side of the bed was empty but still a bit warm meaning he’d just woke up. I rolled out of the bed to go to the shower because if felt clammy and sweaty. I groaned when o looked at where I stood up from and saw it soiled with blood. I’d been so caught up with a lot of things that I forgot to check the date. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, so I hurried back to the bed, lay down and covered myself with the duvet. Roman walked in dressed in shorts and a normal t shirt.“i know you are not sleeping Camila, come have breakfast” he said.“don’t worry, I’ll come after you” I replied but he didn't move instead he came forward and ripped the duvet off me.“get up” he instructed. I shook my head trying to reach for the duvet. Roman froze for a second as his blue eyes met mine. I flushed. This reminded me of the first time I got my period, Matias was the one that found out and he went around the house yelling that I was dying but when

My cold was finally gone and I could go around the house without coughing or sneezing my head off my body. Mother nature was still at work but I didn’t fell the pain that much anymore. I’d woken up a tad bit early in order to make breakfast for Roman In appreciation for what he’d been doing. I took off the ring that he’d given me and placed it on the table while I began to make the waffles. Roman loved waffles and syrup with a bowl of fruit salad at the side and a glass of wine. The wine though wasn’t very healthy but it was worth it. I started mixing all the ingredients in the bowl, once done i poured some of it in the waffle maker while I sliced the fruits into a bowl. Roman came down before I had finished , he took a seat at the table and said nothing and I didn’t notice him either until I turned to drop some waffles into a plate.he grinned. “morning sweetheart, you could have woken me up if you were hungry” he announced. “your brothers have suggested a date” Roman told me as we sat down to eat breakfast. He had a skeptical look on his face as if wondering how I was going to react to the news. “when?” I asked, stuffing my mouth with some hash browns that he’d made. He looked down at the paper he was holding. “that’ll be in two weeks, June 20” I nodded finding nothing wrong with the date. Roman smiled and stuffed the paper away before beginning on his breakfast. We were soon interrupted though by someone slamming the front door open. Olivia stalked into the room with Matias right behind her. I heard a very irritating beeping sound around me, it was burning through my ears and I tried to yell at whoever was making it to make it stop. All I could see was darkness but I could hear distant voices in my head and they got closer and closer to me as I tried to open my eyes. “she’s waking up” I heard someone say. It was coated white, and had many machines and even another bed in the corner.
