CHAPTER 9

The sound of soft snoring woke me up from my deep slumber. I turned slowly and my eyes met that of Roman’s. he looked so young and youthful when he slept, his hair was tousled over his head and his lips parted a little to release a little gush of air every time he breathed. I turned to observe the room, it was dark themed with blood red curtains standing at a corner. The room was dark apart from the tiny streaks of sunlight that escaped through the curtains.

“hey’ I heard Roman murmur sleepily. His voice was husky and tired.

“good morning” I replied slipping out of the bed. Roman sat up using his elbow to brace himself up and stared at me. I looked down at my outfit, I had sleepily managed to change my clothes last night but how I ended up in his room, I don’t know.

“what a site, miss. Santiago” Roman said and a blush creeped up my face. I stalked out of the room and headed for mine to save myself further embarrassment. I entered my room and shut the door. I
