25. Angry apologies

Aster came back when Lia was paying for the ice cream.

"Sorry, I went out without you."

"At least you remembered."

Lia saw that he had come back almost in a minute. So she reluctantly forgave him.

"Let's go."

She followed him.

"Your brother went to play. Do you want to sit somewhere?"

Lia actually liked that. She didn't want to be around two of those guys. They were getting on her nerves.

"So this was the guest you said earlier?"

Lia remembered and nodded.

"He seems rude."

Lia felt like she found someone who agreed with her point of view.

"You think so too, right? He is super rude but my brother and cousin like him. And he doesn't fulfill his promises."

"You seemed to be hung up on that?"
