Chapter 44

The airplane rode through the sky as if it were on sleek and perfect tracks. The sun was beginning to set as it kissed the clouds, creating a breathtaking sunset orange that shined throughout the sky, that was slowly being consumed by darkness. 

Passengers in first class were silent. Some enjoyed the breathtaking nature of the sun going down, while others drifted off into a peaceful slumber. 

Leaning peacefully against Micheal's shoulder was Autumn, fast asleep. Micheal couldn't bring himself to fall asleep as he stared out the window. His nerves were all over the place. They were officially 16 hours away, and Micheal just couldn't get his emotion under control. 

Autumn suddenly began to stir in her sleep, catching Micheal's attention as he looked down at her. Immediately, his eyes softened as he sighed softly before gently caressing her face. A smile appeared on Autumn's lips as her eyes slowly fluttered open, "Micheal?" She softly called out as
