Escape plan 1

From school, Cindy asks her driver to drive her to William's house.

When she got there, she rang the bell three times in a row. Not long after, William came out from inside and opened the door.

"You look rushed. What happened?" William pushed the gate aside as he asked her.

Cindy looked around, asking the two bodyguards to wait outside.

Into the living room, she said. "Maybe I'll run away from city X."

William was shocked, staring at her. "Run away? Why? What made you have this intention?"

'I hope it has nothing to do with an arranged marriage. I hope you're just joking.' He said in his heart.

Cindy glanced at William, who was still glued to her, and she faltered, then decided to tell him. "My father is planning to sell me for a commercial marriage to benefit his business. I can't marry someone I don't love, I don't even know his face. So I have to leave before my father's plan succeeds."

William sighed silently, his hope came true. His heart was broken into a million pieces.

How can he tell her that he is her fiancé?

"Hey, why are you so dazed? Can you hear me?" Cindy shook his shoulder.

William returned to reality. He frowned and asked. "I have. I ask this. If the man your father wants you to marry is also someone you know, then, would you agree?"

Cindy pursed her lips. "Who is that person? I think only my father knows. Even if I know him, I can't get married. Because love must come from two hearts."

William was heartbroken by what she said.

"Now only you can help me." Cindy pouted.

"But do you think about the consequences? Your father knows you ran away, he will be very angry, and he will ask the bodyguards to bring you back no matter where you are." William is concerned for her safety.

"I won't tell, you won't tell, my father won't know. This is only the two of us. Will you help me?"

William didn't answer, he looked at Cindy's lovely face. After a while, he stammered. "I..."

Unable to wait any longer, Cindy spoke up. "We're friends, I trust only you. You don't want to help me? You're afraid of getting involved? You want to watch me suffer for the rest of my life marrying someone I don't love?"

William quickly shook his head. "I do not mean that."

"Help me, please. I need to get out of this marriage." Cindy offered a pair of puppy eyes for William's sympathy.

"What makes you believe I'll help you?" William asked.

"Uhm..." Cindy frowned as if she was pondering the best answer. "Because... I'm your best friend, you love me so much, understand me, you'll be upset when you see me in trouble."

William choked on hearing her words.

Right. This is his weakness, he easily softens when he sees how pitiful she is.

Without hearing his reply, Cindy kept thinking that he turned down her offer of help. So she stood up from her chair. "If you don't want to help me, I'll figure it out myself. If there's no way, I'll be forced to marry a stranger, burying my life in the dark. Either way, that's fate. mine." She acts like a pitiful person. "I'm leaving."

William then grabbed Cindy's wrist, holding her back. "Wait..."

She secretly smiled mischievously.

"Okay, I'll help you." William let out a breath.

Cindy wanted to scream but she knew she needed to hold back.

She turned, facing William, and asked again. "Really? You agree to help me?"

"Yes." William eventually gave up.

"Awesome" Cindy said cheerfully, she jumped up, hugging his neck. "I know you'll help me."

William smiled too, but it was a bitter smile.

This sounds ridiculous.

The fiancé helps his bride run away to get out of their marriage.

Should he be said to be stupid or noble?

William knows that Cindy doesn't love him. If marrying him will cause her pain, he'd rather accept himself as the one in pain, just to see a smile on her face.

Cindy sat down in a chair, whispering in his ear about her escape plan. "Until then, you just have to do what I say."

William frowned as he listened. "Are you really serious?"

"I'm sure." Cindy is very adamant.

'Leaving me, are you so happy?' William said quietly. 'Even though you hurt me, why can't I stop loving you?'

"Are you going to Y city?"

"Yes."

"How will you live? You have no relatives or friends in Y city?"

Cindy appeared calm. "Don't worry. I'm an adult, I know what I'm going to do. You just have to keep this a secret."

"But if your father asks, how do I know the answer?" William asked.

"You are smart, I believe you will explain to my father." Cindy winked at him.

William nodded. "Promise me, when you settle down, you'll have to call me. Don't lose touch."

"I know, brother." Cindy flashed a bright smile. Then she picked up her bag and left William's house.

He watched Cindy's back, a bad feeling in his heart.

He guessed that after successfully helping her escape, she would be out of his life forever, and maybe he wouldn't be able to see her again in the future.

His heart tightened, and he reached out his hand to squeeze his chest.

Cindy never belonged to him, only this photo belongs to him.

William turned his head to look at the picture of Cindy on the table, his heart pierced through with a knife.

That evening, Cindy wrote a letter to her parents. She put important documents in a small bag, including her identity card, passport, and bank cards.

Cindy can't bring clothes, if she drags her suitcase out of the house, people will definitely question her.

She also can't run away at night, because her home's security is very strict. If you are not careful, the anti-theft devices will alarm and everyone will wake up. Sometimes she doesn't even know how to use the electronic devices in her house.

The only way, Cindy will have to resort to William's help.

Tomorrow morning, William will be here. Cindy will act like she's going shopping with him, and won't let the bodyguards come along.
