Meeting

Back to Farrah's Mansion.

Mr. Brian is enjoying his morning coffee in the living room with his newspaper.

The servants in the house were busy doing their own thing.

Niki stepped out into the garden, and bowed to Mrs. Ann. "Madam, breakfast is ready."

"Okay. Let's go up to my room and wake up my precious daughter." Mrs. Ann told Niki.

"Yes." Niki left shortly after.

She knocked on Cindy's bedroom door but no one answered. Niki put her hand on the doorknob and turned it.

The bedroom is designed in a classic style but no less elegant. It's neither too colorful nor too bland. It has a very feminine, very classy look.

After entering the bedroom, she looked around. She approached the bed and found it empty.

Niki thought Cindy was out somewhere, so she walked down to the living room.

Mr. Brian and Mrs. Ann were already seated at the large table in the dining room.

Seeing Niki walk over, Mr. Brian asked. "Where's Cindy? Call her down, it's time for an important announcement."

"Master, she's not in the room. Perhaps the lady is out." Niki replied.

Mrs. Ann was surprised. "It was early in the morning, where did she go?"

"I don't know, madam."

Mrs. Ann asks Niki to tell Jimmy to come in. When Jimmy came in, she asked. "Did you see Cindy?"

"Madam, you went shopping with Mr. William and didn't let us go." Jimmy said politely.

"Okay. When she comes back, I'll talk about marriage with her. Anyway, Cindy's with William, I won't worry." Mr. Brian motioned for Jimmy to leave. Jimmy bowed and left the dining room

After learning her daughter's fiance was William, Mrs. Ann didn't object anymore. She was more than happy.

William is a good, rich man, Cindy becomes the daughter-in-law of the Dennis family, and she will live happily. It was only in the mind of Mrs. Ann.

---

Three hours later, at the airport of City Y.

Cindy spread her arms and breathed in the air. In autumn, Y City is cool, gentle, pleasant weather, and extremely refreshing.

The leaves gradually turn from green to yellow, and the yellow color of the leaves dyes both rows of trees and then gradually falls down, flying with the wind and creating a masterpiece of autumn.

'A right decision to come here.' Cindy spoke to herself and began to calculate future dates.

First, she will use the money in her bank account to eat at a restaurant, then she will buy clothes, rent an apartment, and finally get a job.

'From now on, I'm free. I don't think my plan is going so well.' Cindy thought, feeling excited.

All this is thanks to the help of William. Cindy reminded herself, if she ever saw William again, she would treat him to a delicious meal.

Suddenly, screams interrupted her train of thought.

Cindy looked to her left and saw a group of people gathered around a man to get autographs and take pictures with him.

The group of women, aged 18-20, are probably fans of the other guy.

'So it was fanned asking for autographs from their idols.' Cindy whispered and stepped closer to them, but she still couldn't see the man's face. He wears dark glasses and stands on his side, moreover he is surrounded by fans.

'They just do bullshit. Admiring someone by his looks and voice?' Cindy pouted and walked to the airport exit.

In the back, Ethan - the singer's manager - spoke to the group of fans. "Guys, Mike just finished his tour in Japan. He's pretty tired right now. Please stop taking pictures. Next week, we'll hold a press conference, until then, you're welcome. Idol photography pool." With that, he pulled Mike's hand away from the rowdy crowd.

Mike took a quick step closer to Cindy's side. Of course, at this point, they're not related at all, it's just that Mike wants to get rid of the fan base.

But they called the same taxi.

With both hands on the car door, Cindy looked over at Mike. "This taxi is mine."

"Taxis are everyone's public transport, not your own." Mike coldly replied.

"But I saw it first."

"Has anyone witnessed it? If you said so, I might as well say I was the one who saw it first."

Cindy wants to go crazy. She told the taxi driver. "I'll pay you twice as much if you drive me."

Mike also told the taxi driver. "I'll pay you three times as much if you drive me."

Cindy rolled her eyes at the man beside her while the taxi driver was confused, not knowing who to take.

Ethan tugged at Mike's shirt, whispering. "Don't act to embarrass yourself. Give her a taxi. Fans are looking at you."

Mike looked back, the group of fans still screaming. They held up a sign that read in bold "Mike, we love you."

He smiled reluctantly at them and turned around, opened the car door, held out his hand, and turned his gaze to Cindy, his voice sweet, completely different from his arrogant attitude earlier. "Please, madam, get in the car."

Cindy mumbled. 'Fake thing' and got into the car in the back seat. She asked the driver to drive fast.

The fan group witnessed the situation just now, they loved their idol even more.

The young girls in the crowd made comments.

"He's a real gentleman."

"I wish I had a husband like him."

"I love him very much."

"He's the prince in my heart.'"

Mike was familiar with such statements, to the point that he found it boring.

He knows that they are all fakes. They only fan when he's famous. If one day, he was in trouble or difficulty, would they still love him as they do now?

Before becoming a famous singer like now, Mike was always bullied by young people in the neighborhood, just because his family was poor. His mother sells fish in the market. His father passed away a long time ago. He lives with his mother and sister Jessica.

People in this world are like that.

When you are poor and ugly, you will be bullied, despised, and abandoned.

But when you become rich, famous, and beautiful, people automatically come to you, praise you, and flatter you.

That's why Ethan always asks Mike not to tell his identity to the public, even though he has protested many times.

"Are you still mad at me because I didn't let you talk about your family background?" Ethan said as they sat in another cab. They're on their way to Mike's house.

"I'm just telling the truth, what's wrong with that?" Mike looked out the window.

"You live on your fans. If they turn their backs on you, if they don't buy your CDs, you won't have a place in showbiz."

"If it's just because of my poor background that they leave me, then I don't need them. I'd rather go back to the poor old days than accept lies from them. Ethan, you know. , I don't intend to be famous, I just want to earn money to support my mother and sister."

"I understand. You are a filial son and a responsible brother. This will be discussed later. After you go home, get some sleep. Today's schedules, I will cancel." Ethan said.
