Damon's POV

I feel so sad and bad. I cannot believe that idiot will risk his life to save me. Why would he do such a risky thing in the first place? He should have just let me be shot. I thought he hated me and he was the one sending the death threats.

I was too stupid to think about it. I did not realize that person was just trying to mess with us and I allowed myself to be used. But this means one thing, the culprit is closer to us than we imagine. I looked around for clues and got none.

Damon’s such an idiot. How long will he wear blinders concerning Aileen. All the things she’s said / done. The threats she’s made, he still doesn’t understand who / what she is.
