Jake's POV

"Grandpa, I heard you want to talk to me." I stood straight in front of him, this was the last thing I wanted to happen. "It's been a while since you asked me to come here."

"Are you not aware of it, you bastard?!" He threw the ashtray from his table towards me, I held my breath because of what he did. I could feel the blood flowing from my forehead down to the corner of my eye.

"Grandpa, it's unfortunate but I'm ashamed because I have no real idea about it." I remained standing directly in front of him, looking into his sharp eyes. Letting not any emotion display in my face, such thing is irrelevant for him after all.

"Do you really want to lose the company I worked so hard to build?! I heard from Jamie's parents that you don't pick her up often anymore, I did my research and I found out that you are chasing another woman again."
