A room all covered with black and white was neatly arranged, each part and art of that room screams wealth with a masculine vibe.
There hangs the famous painting 'The Card Players' of one of the famous artists Paul Cezanne on the left wall. It was a rare and most expensive masterpiece in the whole world.
Below that painting was a white console table with candle stands in the middle. In front of that table were king-size chairs with a small coffee table.
In the middle, there was a king-size bed covered with black and white sheets and cushions. On the bedside table, two beautiful Japanese-style lamps were lit giving a unique charm to the room.
There was a big study table made of the most expensive and beautiful wood "Bocote" in the right corner. In the middle, beautiful orange lilies were swaying with the light wind coming from the open door of the balcony.
(A/N: Orange Flower symbolizes hatred, pride, and disdain)...
The door to the walk-in closet opened revealing a masculine figure. Long legs wrapped in black suit trousers stepped out with a pair of black well-polished leather shoes. His slender fingers wrapped around the doorknob and then a Greek god came into vision.
His well-built muscles were visible behind the white collard shirt. Long pointed nose, thin pink lips pursed in a straight line, a dark brown beard with perfectly shaped dark brown eyebrows, and well combed dark brown hair. His blue orbs were like a deep ocean.
"Sir, the old man wants to see you." His secretary informed. He waited for his order patiently.
"When is the meeting." The Greek God opened his mouth and his cold yet charming and alluring voice fell into the room.
"After an hour. Also, sir, the old man said if you did not go to see him, he will arrange your marriage with Anaya." Gabriel, his secretary tried hard to control his laughter when he saw his boss' beautiful face turn ugly.
Alaric Walker, the CEO of WY Co. and elder grandson of the Walker family also known as iceman in the whole country, was a cold, aloof and domineering businessman. He was known for his ruthless way of handling his enemies.
Alaric was a cleanliness freak. Anaya was one of their friends' daughter who hardly managed to take bath once a month. Due to her stinging smell, she was left with no friends.
"I will see him after meeting." Alaric gritted his teeth. If it was someone else he would have sent them to hell by now, but it was his old man, he can't refuse his words.
"OK," Gabriel said and then both went for the meeting.
Inside the meeting room, all the employees held their breathing and sweat dripped from the face.
"This part of the city is left abundant and some people are buying lands here to build farms which is a good sign. If we covered this land and started our new project 'Pearl Platinum' here, it will benefit our company.
We have to invest a few billion and this project will in return give us double the amount we will invest. The red flag you all are seeing is going to be the place where a grand mall will be built.
Security is the main issue and here are the details of security. More than hundreds of bodyguards will guard this place." The employer went with further details and after two hours he stopped presenting.
All the eyes in-room darted to one person who was with a cold face. No one knows what he was thinking.
"Gabriel, tomorrow go with the decided team of this project to the construction site and make sure all the pillars, bricks, and other substances are of the best quality." Alaric gave a curt nod, showing his satisfaction, and then strode out of the room.
Behind him, all the employees wiped their sweat and clapped for their success. They hugged each other and looked at Gabriel expectantly.
"I will ask sir but after the project is completed. You all know sir don't like celebrating when the work is not even ended." Gabriel then walked out leaving behind the pitiful employees.

"Where is the old man?" Alaric walked into the ancestral house and asked the housekeeper about his grandfather.
"He is playing mahogany in the backyard with old Mr Smith." the housekeeper informed and left from there.
"Old man Paul, you are cheating." John pouted like a kid.
They were old but always act like kids. Paul Walker and John Smith were childhood best friends.
"You are the old man. Look you can't even win a small game." Paul laughed shoeing his wrinkles.
His eyes spotted the person he was waiting to see. The old man's wrinkled face lit up and his eyes shine like a moon.
"My grandson, come here and decide who won the match." Paul waved his hand and insisted Alaric come near him.
"You brat don't dare to favor your grandfather," John warned with his stick.
Alaric rubbed his temples and looked at both old men helplessly. Only these to dared to curse or order him, other than them, he doesn't even listen to his own mother.
"This is a tie," Alaric said walking away.
"You rascal! Where are you going? This is not a tie." Paul yelled angrily while John laughed in delight.
"Stop laughing you old fool." Paul glared at John which definitely did not affect him.
"Who are you calling fool, remember in college times, that blonde hair made a fool out of you." John laughed heartily.
"And that tanned skin girl back in high school rejected you in front of the whole school." It was now Paul's turn to laugh.
"Hey, you can't tell this to my grandchildren." John warned
"Your secret is my secret old friend until you keep my secret in your heart." Both old buddies agreed and then walked around the garden discussing traits and families of various flowers.
"Why did you call me in a hurry?" Alaric crossed his legs, his eyes never leaving the bright screen of his phone."Tomorrow you will go to meet Smiths'. I will send you the address later." Paul said in a stern voice."And why do you want me to meet them?" Alaric finally lift his eyes and looked at Paul suspiciously."I and John have decided to strengthen our old friendship by marrying his elder granddaughter into our family." Paul sighed and looked out of the window with a feeling of sorrow in his eyes."I am getting old and you are already 29, this is my last wish Alaric, I have never asked for anything from you and I hope you can fulfil my last wish." Paul looked down. His shoulders shooked violently."Fine! I will meet them." Alaric rubbed the space between his eyebrows. Although he had seen through Paul's trick, he did not oppose him."Good, very good. I will now inform John." Paul hit his can on the ground enthusiastically.
"Bella, where are you? Didn't I tell you to stay at home? Come to Deific Restaurant now." Mrs Smith whisper yelled on call and hung up without waiting for Bellamy's reply. "Mom, don't be angry. Sister will definitely come." Belle assured her mother with a sweet smile. "I wish Bellamy was as sensible as Belle." John sighed and looked at his son. "Father, Bellamy is intelligent, sensible, and presentable unlike this unfilial granddaughter of yours." Mr Smith snorted at Belle who looked down with an expression of hurt. Mrs Smith was about to argue when the door to the private room opened. Paul walked in with a bright smile on his wrinkled face. Behind him was the most handsome and cold-looking man. "John, my brother, sorry for making you all wait for too long." Paul apologized and hit his grandson to greet them. "Good afternoon!" Alaric greeted them with a straight face. Belle clandestinely peeked at him and her heart skipped a beat. His melodious voice and godly features lugged h
Belle took a cab to her secret apartment and walked to the parking lot where tons of sportbikes and cars were standing. She did not waste her time and jump on BMW S 1000 RR, which was her favorite. After checking her backpack for necessary items, Belle rode the bike to the airport. After 20 minutes, she arrived at the airport and saw a man was walking back and forth with scorn on his face. "Luca," Belle called with a bright smile on her face. "Belle, thank God you are here!" Luca ran to Belle and squeezed her in a warm hug. "How have you been, Luca?" Belle asked looking at the well-built man. "You can see - I am all good and perfect." Luca opened his arms wide. "I can see that my little one has grown up." Belle patted his back with a proud smile. "We should get going now. Others might go crazy if we did not reach there on time." Belle and Luca laughed and hoped up on the bike. "You are still the same, Belle," Luca said with a shake of the head. Belle did not reply to him and
Time passed in a trick. It was the week of marriage when the nation's husband was going to get married. Words passed like fire. Girls from high society were envious of the bride. Bellamy was known as a bitch in the upper class but, no one dared to offend her, afraid of the consequences. As the chaos in the whole of New York City, the Smith mansion was also in chaos, not because of the marriage, but because of the hard news in the morning. Bellamy hadn't returned home since she left before meeting Alaric. "Mom, what is happening?" Belle walked downstairs, rubbing her eyes. She heard the morning commotion that disturbed her sleep. "Bellamy is out of reach. No one knows about her whereabouts. I should have locked her. If she did not return by evening, we Smiths will lose our face in front of the whole city." Mrs Smith covered her face and shook her head in guilt. "Mom, why don't we ask Tod? He must be aware of where she is." Belle suggested thoughtfully. "Were you aware of their hi
In a spacious and beautiful garden, classical music was playing. Officials, Business tycoons and celebrities gathered there to witness the marriage between the grandchildren of the two most influential families. In a corner, John rubbed his palms and looked anxious. He was afraid of what Paul would say after knowing what her good-for-nothing granddaughter had done. "Old man, today we are finally going to strengthen our bond." A bright smile was plastered on Paul's wrinkled face. "There is something I want to tell you." John let out a shaky breath. "What is it, old man? Why do you look so depressed?" Paul frowned when he noticed the trembling hands of his friend. "Come with me." John leads Paul into the bridal room, where Nora and Belle were waiting for John. "I am sorry, Paul. Bellamy ran away with her boyfriend." John did not beat around the bushes and directly told the problem. "Did you know that she had a boyfriend?" Paul asked John with disappointment. "Yes, but I wanted

"Belle!" Before anyone could comprehend what was going on, Belle's friends exclaimed in unison. They all rushed towards her. "Let me carry her to room." Alaric now understands what his grandfather had done. He then picked up Belle from Carter's lap and took long strides towards the Walker mansion. "Gabriel, call the doctor," Alaric said as he laid Belle on the bed. "No need. I am her doctor." Hazel pushed Alaric with a glare and checked the vitals of Belle. "Aunty, did she have breakfast?" Hazel asked Nora with a frown. "She only had a glass of juice." Nora held Belle's hand and sighed. "Which juice?" Hazel brought a small first aid kit, which she always carries in her bag. She then filled the injection with a transparent liquid. "Apple juice." Nora looks confused. It was the first time Belle had taken apple juice for breakfast. "Hell! Don't you know Belle is allergic to apples? We shouldn't allow her to stay here." Luca yelled with a heavy breath. They all were careful when
In the middle of the night, a pair of predator's dark pitch eyes were boring holes in the soul of the stirring woman on the bed. Alaric took his time to examine Belle. "Why is it so dark?" Belle murmured. Her voice was a bit raspy. She gathered all her strength to move her aching back from the bed. "Annabelle Smith, welcome to the world of darkness." Alaric clicked the red button from the table, and the whole room lit up with bright light. Belle instantly became weary of his presence. His dark chuckle was scary enough to make one shudder. "What do you mean?" Belle bumped her brows together. Shouldn't he ask about her health instead of showing his sly smirk? Belle thought in her mind. Alaric did not answer her question and walked to where Belle was struggling. He put his hands on either side of Belle's pillow and inched closer to her face. His warm breath fanning across her neck sent tickles down her spine. "Dear wifey, if you are not mistaken, today is our wedding night. Shouldn't
