In the morning, inside the Smiths' living room, Mrs Smith was trying to pursue her elder daughter to poach the only heir of Walkers.
Smiths were known as the ancient and most prestigious family but were not as rich and famous as the Walkers. Most of their business deals were made because of their century-old friendship with the Walkers.
"Mom, tell grandpa, I will never agree with his arrangements," Bellamy yelled at her mother angrily.
"Don't be stupid, Bellamy. Alaric is far better than your boyfriend. He has money, power, status, and fame. What that lowly boyfriend of yours has?" Mrs Smith tried to add some sense to her daughter.
"You can ask Belle to marry him." Bellamy holds her mother's hand.
"For God's sake Bellamy! First, you stole her boyfriend and now you want her to marry as a substitute and that to a man who is seven years older than her. Did you ever think, what will happen to her when she will know the truth?" Mrs Smith was fuming in anger when she heard Bellamy.
"She is a nerd, and can't even satisfy her boyfriend. This is all her fault, not mine." Bellamy retorted back.
"Enough, Bellamy. You will marry Alaric and this is final. I am not letting my innocent Belle marry an older man." Mrs Smith said in her authoritative voice and left from there.
"I will see, how you and grandpa are going to force me to marry that impotent Alaric Walker." Bellamy clenched her fist and stormed out of the house.
Belle was listening to all their conversation from upstairs. Her eyes warmly gazed at her mother, who was ready to protect her from the cruel world. She walked back to her room and picked up her phone, after contemplating, she rejected the idea to call Tord - her cheater boyfriend and decided to give him a surprise visit.
In less than twenty minutes, Belle was standing outside Tod's apartment. The front door was locked from the inside, so she had to use spare keys which he always hides under the doormat.
The door opened with a creak and weird sounds were coming out of Tod's bedroom. The living room was in a mess, clothes of Tod and a woman were scattered all over the place, which she recognized instantly. those were the clothes of her sister Bellamy.
There was no expression on her face until she opened the door to the bedroom. Tod and Bellamy, who were busy in their intense make-out session, failed to notice the dark face of Belle in the room.
"Bellamy Smith and Tod Maskal, what a thrilling show?" Belle's cold voice boomed in the heated room, forcing the couple to separate from each other's embrace.
"Belle!" Tod jumped off the bed naked and tried to hold her hands but she pushed him away.
"Sis, why?" Belle choked on her words. She looked vulnerable. Her petite face was all covered with fresh tears.
"Look, Belle, I and Tod are in love with each other since the day you left for Italy. Dad has already approved of my relation. You can marry that Alaric, please don't make a fuss." Bellamy covered her naked body with a quilt and sneered with disdain. She never liked her so-called younger sister.
"Tod, you said you love me. Then why are you doing this to me?" Belle looked broken.
"I never loved you, Belle. It was your innocence and beauty that attracted me but now I am clear in my head. The person I love is Bellamy, not you." Tod said without the slightest hint of remorse.
Belle did not say anything, instead, she watched them - shamelessly accusing her. All she wanted, was to leave that toxic place.
"Goodbye, Tod! We are done for good." Belle wiped her tears and walked out.
She was aware of their secret affair from day one but was silent up till now just because of her mother.
"Shameless father and daughter." Belle sneered and wore her helmet before riding at a speed of 250.
When she returned home, her grandfather - John - was taking a walk in the garden.
"Grandpa," Belle called him in her sweet voice and hugged the old man.
"Darling, your mother told me about what Bella has done." John sighed.
"It's ok, grandpa. Tod is a jerk and I was searching for a way to get rid of him. Thanks to Bella who helped me." Belle laughed lightly.
"Are you sure, you are not hurt?" John asked his granddaughter with concern.
"Yes, I am sure, grandpa," Belle assured the old man. John's mood instantly lit up and he smiled with satisfaction.
"Grandpa, what if Bellamy refuses to marry Alaric?" Belle asked in concern.
"She has to marry him. I won't accept that Maskal boy." John was firm in his decision. He had already promised his old friend.
Belle nodded her head in agreement. After talking to her grandfather, Belle walked to her room and plopped down on her bed. She stretched her tired muscles. She wasn't the least bit affected after seeing the shameless couple. It was as if she was expecting this outcome.
"Alaric Walker," Belle murmured his name and a weird smile formed on her strawberry-shaped lips. She picked up her phone and browsed at him. There were few, blurred photos of Alaric. Most of the netizens had commented on him as rude, arrogant, cold, and aloof. Some even doubted his sexuality.
A sudden knock on the door forced her to roll her eyes. The expression on her face changed to a sweet little girl.
"Young miss, lunch is ready." The housekeeper bowed in respect.
"I will be there in a minute." She said sweetly and closed the door.
"Lunch is ready, Dad must be here and Bellamy too. Seeing their faces made me lose my appetite." Belle groaned and tied her hair into a loose bun.
She wore her big round glasses and made her way towards the dining table with a sad face. She politely greeted everyone and sat beside her mother.
"Why do you have to make things difficult for your sister, Annabelle?" Mr Smith calmly said but there was a hint of anger in his voice.
"Mom, I have already eaten outside. I am going back to my room." Belle ignored her father and left from there. She could hear the curses her father was throwing at her.
"Your daughter can only bring shame to our family." Mr Smith pushed away his plate and walked upstairs.
Mrs Smith holds back her tears and looked in the direction where her daughter had left. She was feeling sorry and guilty for her. It was all her mistake.
A room all covered with black and white was neatly arranged, each part and art of that room screams wealth with a masculine vibe. There hangs the famous painting 'The Card Players' of one of the famous artists Paul Cezanne on the left wall. It was a rare and most expensive masterpiece in the whole world. Below that painting was a white console table with candle stands in the middle. In front of that table were king-size chairs with a small coffee table. In the middle, there was a king-size bed covered with black and white sheets and cushions. On the bedside table, two beautiful Japanese-style lamps were lit giving a unique charm to the room. There was a big study table made of the most expensive and beautiful wood "Bocote" in the right corner. In the middle, beautiful orange lilies were swaying with the light wind coming from the open door of the balcony. (A/N: Orange Flower symbolizes hatred, pride, and disdain)...
"Why did you call me in a hurry?" Alaric crossed his legs, his eyes never leaving the bright screen of his phone."Tomorrow you will go to meet Smiths'. I will send you the address later." Paul said in a stern voice."And why do you want me to meet them?" Alaric finally lift his eyes and looked at Paul suspiciously."I and John have decided to strengthen our old friendship by marrying his elder granddaughter into our family." Paul sighed and looked out of the window with a feeling of sorrow in his eyes."I am getting old and you are already 29, this is my last wish Alaric, I have never asked for anything from you and I hope you can fulfil my last wish." Paul looked down. His shoulders shooked violently."Fine! I will meet them." Alaric rubbed the space between his eyebrows. Although he had seen through Paul's trick, he did not oppose him."Good, very good. I will now inform John." Paul hit his can on the ground enthusiastically.
"Bella, where are you? Didn't I tell you to stay at home? Come to Deific Restaurant now." Mrs Smith whisper yelled on call and hung up without waiting for Bellamy's reply. "Mom, don't be angry. Sister will definitely come." Belle assured her mother with a sweet smile. "I wish Bellamy was as sensible as Belle." John sighed and looked at his son. "Father, Bellamy is intelligent, sensible, and presentable unlike this unfilial granddaughter of yours." Mr Smith snorted at Belle who looked down with an expression of hurt. Mrs Smith was about to argue when the door to the private room opened. Paul walked in with a bright smile on his wrinkled face. Behind him was the most handsome and cold-looking man. "John, my brother, sorry for making you all wait for too long." Paul apologized and hit his grandson to greet them. "Good afternoon!" Alaric greeted them with a straight face. Belle clandestinely peeked at him and her heart skipped a beat. His melodious voice and godly features lugged h
Belle took a cab to her secret apartment and walked to the parking lot where tons of sportbikes and cars were standing. She did not waste her time and jump on BMW S 1000 RR, which was her favorite. After checking her backpack for necessary items, Belle rode the bike to the airport. After 20 minutes, she arrived at the airport and saw a man was walking back and forth with scorn on his face. "Luca," Belle called with a bright smile on her face. "Belle, thank God you are here!" Luca ran to Belle and squeezed her in a warm hug. "How have you been, Luca?" Belle asked looking at the well-built man. "You can see - I am all good and perfect." Luca opened his arms wide. "I can see that my little one has grown up." Belle patted his back with a proud smile. "We should get going now. Others might go crazy if we did not reach there on time." Belle and Luca laughed and hoped up on the bike. "You are still the same, Belle," Luca said with a shake of the head. Belle did not reply to him and
Time passed in a trick. It was the week of marriage when the nation's husband was going to get married. Words passed like fire. Girls from high society were envious of the bride. Bellamy was known as a bitch in the upper class but, no one dared to offend her, afraid of the consequences. As the chaos in the whole of New York City, the Smith mansion was also in chaos, not because of the marriage, but because of the hard news in the morning. Bellamy hadn't returned home since she left before meeting Alaric. "Mom, what is happening?" Belle walked downstairs, rubbing her eyes. She heard the morning commotion that disturbed her sleep. "Bellamy is out of reach. No one knows about her whereabouts. I should have locked her. If she did not return by evening, we Smiths will lose our face in front of the whole city." Mrs Smith covered her face and shook her head in guilt. "Mom, why don't we ask Tod? He must be aware of where she is." Belle suggested thoughtfully. "Were you aware of their hi
In a spacious and beautiful garden, classical music was playing. Officials, Business tycoons and celebrities gathered there to witness the marriage between the grandchildren of the two most influential families. In a corner, John rubbed his palms and looked anxious. He was afraid of what Paul would say after knowing what her good-for-nothing granddaughter had done. "Old man, today we are finally going to strengthen our bond." A bright smile was plastered on Paul's wrinkled face. "There is something I want to tell you." John let out a shaky breath. "What is it, old man? Why do you look so depressed?" Paul frowned when he noticed the trembling hands of his friend. "Come with me." John leads Paul into the bridal room, where Nora and Belle were waiting for John. "I am sorry, Paul. Bellamy ran away with her boyfriend." John did not beat around the bushes and directly told the problem. "Did you know that she had a boyfriend?" Paul asked John with disappointment. "Yes, but I wanted

"Belle!" Before anyone could comprehend what was going on, Belle's friends exclaimed in unison. They all rushed towards her. "Let me carry her to room." Alaric now understands what his grandfather had done. He then picked up Belle from Carter's lap and took long strides towards the Walker mansion. "Gabriel, call the doctor," Alaric said as he laid Belle on the bed. "No need. I am her doctor." Hazel pushed Alaric with a glare and checked the vitals of Belle. "Aunty, did she have breakfast?" Hazel asked Nora with a frown. "She only had a glass of juice." Nora held Belle's hand and sighed. "Which juice?" Hazel brought a small first aid kit, which she always carries in her bag. She then filled the injection with a transparent liquid. "Apple juice." Nora looks confused. It was the first time Belle had taken apple juice for breakfast. "Hell! Don't you know Belle is allergic to apples? We shouldn't allow her to stay here." Luca yelled with a heavy breath. They all were careful when
