Third Person's POV
The wedding had ended, and everyone was satisfied, especially John. If Celina and Jefferson just acted, John would not have noticed anything either. He was busy with the guests when they were at the reception. He was occupied by nonstop greetings and best wishes for the newlyweds and an overwhelming number of gifts from everyone who had all left the ceremony happily, except Noris.
In the mansion, the newlyweds were in their room trying to rest when one of the maids knocked on their door. Celina was looking at them when Jefferson opened the door for her.
"Sir, Sir Noris is outside. He was drunk and was breaking everything. He was calling you out.
" The maid informed him. He looked at Celina, who was waiting for him to say anything.
"I'll be back; stay here." Jefferson told Celina, who just nodded. She was curious why Noris was making a scene. She knew him, and she was shocked earlier when she found out that they were brothers. Noris was her friend, and he had not told her anything about his family. She would not have known that he was wealthy if she had not married Jefferson.
Meanwhile, John was almost at the mansion. He was worried that Noris might do something stupid. Before he went to see Jefferson, he called John first, informing him that it was Celina whom he liked and he was blaming him for not telling him that it was Celina that John wanted him to marry.
"What's all this Noris?" Jefferson asked, neglecting the fact that he was his big brother.
"Why did you have to marry her? I thought you loved Wendy? Why did you have to marry Celina? " Noris asked Jefferson
"What do you mean? Did you know Celina? Did you know my wife? " Jefferson asked.
Before Noris could answer, John interrupted him, "Noris, what do you think you're doing?" John asked.
"Dad, why didn't you tell me that the woman you wanted to marry was Celina?! If I had found out that it was her, I would not have refused. " He said, crying.
For the moment, Jefferson was speechless. He thought his dad had offered him the marriage first. It turns out that he was the first one to receive the offer, but he refused. For what? Jefferson looked at John, asking for answers.
"I offered the marriage to him first, but he refused because he already loved someone, and it turned out to be Celina as well." John told Jefferson.
"You didn't tell me that it was her. She was the only one that I wanted. I was working harder so I would be able to offer her something that I could do myself. " Noris told John, crying.
"I never told Jefferson either. I offered it to you first, so you wouldn't think I'm being unfair to you. " Jefferson looked at his dad and then at Noris, whom he saw for the first time in a very vulnerable state.
"Come on, Noris, let's go. Leave your younger brother and sister-in-law alone." John told him while pulling him up. He was now kneeling on the floor while Jefferson was just watching them until they got into the car and left.
He stayed at the mansion's front door, thinking about Noris. 'He refused the company for the woman he loved, who happened to be my wife.' He thought.
If he had not refused, or if he was greedy, he could have got the company and the woman he loved all at once.' As he got inside the mansion, Jefferson murmured. When he reached the stairs, he stopped for a while and looked up. He still couldn't believe what he had found out.
When he went back to their room, Jefferson found Celina's luggage still on the floor. He looked at it and then at Celina, who was getting something in her purse.
"Why are you not yet starting to put your things in the closet?" Jefferson asked Celina.
"I already asked your maid to clean the vacant room for me tomorrow. I will unpack when the room is ready. " Celina answered.
"You're not going to stay in this room? What do you think my dad will say once he finds out that you were sleeping in a different room? Is that how much you dislike me? " Jefferson asked angrily.
"It's nothing like that. Uncle John won't know because everything you buy for me will stay in the closet. He wouldn't think we were sleeping in different rooms unless your maids told him or anyone. " Celina simply replied. John was still for a moment. He thought if there was someone who should want them to sleep in separate rooms, it should be him.
He remembered what Noris said earlier and thought that Celina liked him as well. Seeing that they knew each other made Jefferson think that Celina was trying to keep a distance between them because of him. With that thought, Jefferson became infuriated and looked at Celina angrily.
"Stay in this room. I don't want anyone to know how miserable my marriage life is. End of discussion. " He said and left their room. Celina was just staring at him and didn't know what she had just said to make him angry. She still hadn't unpacked her things and decided to do what she had planned, but decided to follow Jefferson only for tonight and went to bed to sleep. She didn't want to think about his grumpiness as she didn't care at all that Jefferson left so he could be with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Jefferson went to his study. He thought that Celina was willing to make their marriage work when she decided to agree to it. It turns out that she just agreed and wanted nothing else. He decided to sleep in his study so Celina wouldn't be uncomfortable in their room. He prepared himself on a couch when his phone rang and he saw that it was Wendy. "Babe," Wendy said.
Wendy sighed and said, "You know, you know that it is my wedding night."
I still want you, babe. I love you. Please come back to me. Wendy said, sobbing. Jefferson rubbed his face with his hand after hearing Wendy. He didn't like to hurt her anymore as he was not like that.
"Wendy, I am already married. We're done. " He said.
"No, don't say that. I love you and I still want you. I am not asking you to divorce your wife. Just spare me some of your time. It was more than enough for me. Wendy pleaded.
Jefferson didn't like that; he didn't want a mistress. He was not an a****** and he respected Wendy for being his longest girlfriend. He didn't want her to become his mistress and destroy her. He knew he wouldn't be able to give her what she wanted anymore.
"Wendy, I respect you. I didn't want you to become my mistress. You deserve more than that. I'll pretend I didn't hear you say that. Goodbye, Wendy. " Jefferson said and hung up. He didn't want to talk to her anymore as he was afraid that he would give in to her if she insisted.
He started to think about his marriage. He couldn't help but to remember how their break up went on.

Celina's POV Jefferson was at my side all the time I felt down. Our daughter remained healthy after what I went through and I thank God for that. I felt humiliated and violated. However, being able to be with my husband and our baby helped me recover more quickly than my psychologist thought. My doctor was very supportive and careful every time she tried to make me say something about that incident. She said that in time, I will be able to smile and laugh wholeheartedly, especially now that the culprit is in jail paying for his crime. Afterward, my husband explained what had happened, and I was thankful that he cared so much about me. I thanked him for having someone to look after me when he was not around. I know it was because he is wealthy that he could do such a thing and I feel lucky about that. I guess having money is not that terrible after all. I used to think having too much was an exaggeration of the way we live. For me, it was enough that there was food on my table and a r
Jefferson's Celina was still sleeping, our baby is fine and I hope that this will make her feel a little better. What had happened to her was very traumatic and I wouldn't blame her if she became hysterical when she woke up, so I had to be with her when that happened. The man who did that to her was now in police custody and dad was the one who was taking care of the case. I don't know who he was, but according to the police, he had some cases of swindling, fraud, rape and murder. He will surely rot in jail and I will make sure of that. I looked at Celina again and smiled. She looked like our daughter. I've got two girls to woo for the rest of my life. I caressed her head and rubbed her arm when she suddenly opened her eyes, very slowly. "Hey, my Celina," I said in my most loving tone. I want her to feel that she's safe because I am here. Her tears started to fall when she saw me and my heart broke, "Our baby, Jefferson. Where's our baby." She said hysterically when she felt her
Jefferson's POV Celina is really persistent. I didn't want her to go but I was sure that she'd insist, so I had to agree with her so she wouldn't get mad at me. I contacted Noli and asked for help and referred to me a good bodyguard that could look after her when she leaves. Although I asked him not to show up in front of her because she would only get mad and would only think that it was only a waste of money. I am going to be very busy in the company because I am having a hard time trusting people again, after Noris and a few board members did that to the company. Having someone to look after Celina wherever she goes will put me at ease, so I'd rather spend it even if it was so much so that I could work properly. "Sir, Ma'am Celina is in the company now," Lester, the bodyguard, reported. "Thank you, just be careful not to show yourself and let her know that you are watching over her. I didn't want her to get mad at me, OK?" "Copy that Sir," he replied, and we ended the call an
Third Person's POV "Do you think she still remembers you?" Celina heard Mary Jane Diaz's voice. "Of course! How can she forget about me?" She heard the man's voice answering and she tried to remember who he was but she couldn't. She kept herself quiet in fear that they would do something to her and her baby. "She's already pregnant and you still want her?" "Why would you care? Did I say anything about you and your sister wanting the same man?" the man asked, "What now?" "You can leave us alone. I am going to take care of her. I will be transporting her to a far away province where no one will ever know her and live as a family." The man answered as if he was crazy. "Oh, you don't need to tell me whoever among you and your sister managed to take Jefferson, so no need to contact me. Our deal ends here and no matter what happens to you or your sister, it is not my concern anymore." the man added, and she heard footsteps walking out of the room. Celina had her eyes closed and fe
Celina's POV I am very happy after finding out about my parents. I know that the hospital needs to be discrete about the donors' identity, but thankfully, Daddy John's friend helped. After hearing what he said, I decided to do the same and enlist myself as an organ donor. I wanted to do something to others that might change their lives just like my own father did to mine. Yes, I am not sure that whoever will have any of my organs will do the same as what Daddy John had done, but the fact that I somehow helped the recipient to extend his or her life was already something. I just hope that Jefferson will support me on this and will not argue about it either. He was very protective of me, especially when I got pregnant, and loved him even more. Speaking of being pregnant, my doctor told me that I can attend meetings and get back to work as long as I don't have to travel long. I will only be sitting at work and even during meetings, so I guess it would be fine if I agreed to meet one o
Jefferson's POV My curiosity aroused when I saw how serious dad was. "Dad, I want you to know that I am very happy with my life now. Especially when I am going to be a father soon, so you can tell me why you chose her to marry either of me and Noris." he sighed and looked at Celina. It seemed to me that he was worried about my wife, so I waited for him. I didn't want to force him when he's not ready, "Dad, it's fine if you can't tell us yet," Celina said as she held his hand. "I have no regrets about my decision too. I would still have run away from my adoptive parents if you had not asked them to marry me off to your son." She added. "I just didn't want to hurt you. You're like a daughter to me and I can see that you can't remember your past." Dad replied" You to my wife". I didn't know anything about Celina, so telling him that made me feel worried as well. "Dad, I am too happy now to think about my past. Yes, I will be sad, but to succumb to that feeling and hate the world, that
