“Crying solves nothing and you can't keep running away from them forever. They're your parents.” Natalie said for the untenth time as she watched Scarlett who was laying on the bed with her eyes closed.

“I don't want to see them, is that so hard to understand?” she asked as she huffed. Natalie had been trying so long to talk to her and make her understand that her parents came for good and not bad, but she refused to accept them back into the life they had aimed to destroy.

“But you're still ending up with the same man they chose for you.” Nat reminded and Scar opened her eyes to glare at her.

“Do you think I'm mad at them because of that? I'm mad because they lied to me! They almost sold me out! How hard is that to understand?” Nat sighed as she heard those words from Scarlett. Scarlett's voice broke at the end of her words.
