Chapter Eleven
"Nikolai what took you long ?" Champagne asked immediately after he came back from the bathrooms, she slowly stood up and looked him up and down but nothing seemed to had changed.
Nikolai smiled at her softly, then stepped towards her. She's his and only his right, no one is going to take Champagne away from him.
"Are you done eating ?" he asked immediately and Champagne nodded, her emerald eyes darting to the empty plate then back to him.
"That's good now we can leave " he added and Champagne frowned a bit, she didn't know why but something seemed off when she looked at him but she didn't voice it.
Champagne watched as he handed the waiter his card to pay for their bill, she collected her purse and soon enough the card was brought back.
" Let's go " this time round Nikolai didn't ask more and just took her wrist in his hand then led her out of the restaurant, in all this he didn't seem to notice that her eyes were watching him keenly.
