Chapter 16 - Rejections

Lupus sat outside the operating room, waiting for Laureffaine's operation to be over. He had always felt awful about his whole existence but it was no where near what he was feeling for getting Laureffaine hurt.

His arms joined on his chest and his mind felt like a pregnant cloud.

A look at him and all the nurses scurried away. No one wanted to get in the way of the Rogue Alpha.

His eyes were puffy and sore from crying. What broke his heart was the fact that he hadn't been treating Laureffaine well but she took a bullet for him.
