Chapter 32 - Certainly Not Over

Tiny steps approached Laureffaine and her legs were attacked. She could feel the little one's warm tears on her skin and she knew not what to do.

She just wanted the little one to stop crying and didn't want to upset her.

"Lupus", her eyes met her mate's and her voice cracked.

"Sorry Luna", Pam apologized as she detached Fafa's hands from the Luna's legs.

"She has never on her own will gotten comfortable with anyone ever since her arrival. You're the first", Pam whispered.

"Really", Laureffaine's vision blurred.

"It took weeks for her to warm up to me. And she always spent her time with the Alpha then", Pam continued, nodding her head.

"She don't smile, she's so small and yet going through things that makes her avoid everyone", She added.

Laureffaine could only imagine the pain. She might have went through something similar when Xavier's parents found her.
