I stir in my sleep, reaching across the bed to find it empty. 

I'm alone and a pang of disappointment caresses my tired self. 

The sun is peaking through the windows and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shoreline from a distance fills the room. I shift about, rolling onto my side and maneuver myself off the bed. As I exit the room I can hear voices from downstairs along with the clattering sound of dishes.

I descend the stairs and my body starts to ache. I ache everywhere, thanks to my insatiable husband. I brush my fingertips along the crook of my neck. My body is like a canvas with Amar painting me with his affection of love.

The stroking of his tongue, the feather-light kisses he unapologetically plants everywhere, and his soft, demanding fingers kneading every inch of my body all contribute to the creation of a picture of love.
