Ava's POV

Cade stared at me with a confused expression.

"I don't know exactly what I have gotten my Pack into, and I would appreciate it if you explained."

"Oh, yes," I nodded. "It's pretty easy. I will be using your influence to encourage others to join me."

Cade tilted his head in confusion.

"You do know that we barely have any influence, right?"

I nodded calmly.

"That's the reason I came here."

"Then, what are you talking about?"

"Are you the weakest Pack in the region?"

"No," he replied.

"There you have it," I shrugged. "To some Packs, even you are untouchable enemies—or at least enemies they would lose to. We can intimidate or encourage them into joining our cause."

"Then, what happens after that?"

"I will use you a few more times, and then we use our numbers to encourage others. There is, in fact, strength in numbers."

"So, basically, you are trying to form an alliance?" an elder asked.

"An alliance, huh?" I said as I mulled it over. "This is a bit more than an alliance. An all

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Death Has A Deadline

Dravin's POV It's been about two days since Elora mysteriously disappeared and only three more days left before she has to come back. The plan was for her to be back here in one week, and it's quite annoying that there has still been no sighting of her.It has plagued me a couple of times. I've asked myself why I was worried. Why her disappearance affected me so much.If anything, she should be the one eager to be back here because her life is in literal danger. If the goddess, in her infinite foolery, is right, she will die in ten days unless I claim her.Why am I even bothered about her death? It's unlikely that she's Irikah. She looks nothing like her.Their only similarity lay in the eyes. What exactly keeps me so intent on saving this girl? Especially when the decree came from that damned goddess.Taking a few minutes to manage my thoughts, I let out a quiet sigh. She can do as she pleases. If she runs away, she'll be dead in a few days anyway, and it wouldn't be my fault.Convi

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Too Tired To Live, Too Strong To Die

Dravin's POV I tapped my fingers restlessly on my table as I sat in my office. The atmosphere was quite relaxing, with rays of sunlight illuminating the office through the window and a tranquil silence that could easily put anyone to sleep.Yet, I was restless. The door opened, and Soren walked in distractedly as his eyes were glued to a few papers in his hand."Good day, Alpha," he greeted, still distracted. "You called for me.""Yeah," I nodded. "Take a seat."He promptly obeyed but still didn't look up from his papers. They seemed to have him entranced."Eyes up ahead, Soren," I said as I tapped louder on the table to get his attention. He finally looked up at me with a question in his eyes, obviously displeased to have to look up from whatever he was reading."What do you have there?" I asked out of curiosity."Documents of our expenditure and a few other observations the scouts and administrators reported about the Pack. Apparently, we might have neglected quite a bit in the pas

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Not Your Average Luna

Ava's POV As we strolled into the castle, Cade was quiet, and I can understand why. My question wasn't one that should be answered hastily. The halls were exactly as I'd expected and surprisingly didn't amaze me as much as Stormclaw or the Sulk Pack had. As weird as it sounds, I had gotten used to being royalty, to being rich and surrounded by luxury. It was such a surreal feeling for me. It was almost surprising. As we strolled through the halls, I saw the barely masked contempt at the sight of me—chubby and scarred. Some even gave the Alpha an accusing glare as if asking him why he allowed someone like me into the Pack. I could tell, but I didn't care. I have a bigger reason for being here than whatever personal feelings they have towards me. Cade, surprisingly, didn't seem that affected by my appearance. He might be pretending since he knows the power I wield and have behind me, but I was quite appreciative of that. It took a bit of self-convincing to allow myself to be

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Tight-Lipped Rebels

Dravin's POV I tapped impatiently on my desk as I waited for any news about my mate's whereabouts. It was a weird feeling, waiting for news about Elora, as I was not used to waiting for anything. It was quite annoying. It was also puzzling that she would leave her father's Pack so secretly. Was she planning something? Her family didn't seem quite bothered by her disappearance, which would suggest that they know her whereabouts. Something I would have to address later.A knock on the door brought my attention to it, and I looked up to find Soren there with a frown on his face."Have you found her?""You can afford to think of other things except your mate, Alpha," he replied. "I am working on it and already told her family to do the same.""Yeah," I nodded. "I just can't find the sense of urgency in Stormclaw. They seem to know more than they're letting on.""Well, there's not much we can do," he shrugged. "They said she left saying she was coming back here, so there's not much they c

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    When Duty Hurts

Lyanna's POVMy heart was in turmoil. I knew what Elora wanted, and I can honestly understand why she wanted it. She had become more than just my Luna. She was my friend. She was more than a duty. That was the best part of being with her. But I couldn't do this for her. "What's going on?" Hannah asked as we approached the castle. Both she and Alia had been so mesmerized with the view that it came as a surprise when she asked me a question. "Are you scared?" "Scared?" I laughed. "You think I'm scared?""I'm scared," Hannah said calmly. That caught me off guard. "Really?" I asked calmly. "What are you scared of?" "I'm scared of this," she replied. "Where are we going, and why are we here? Do you have any idea?" "I don't," I shrugged. "She has been quite secretive with her purpose."Hannah gave me a pointed look. "You're great at a lot of things, Lyanna, but terrible at lying. I suspect it's because you have barely ever lied your whole life."I glared at her in an attempt t
