Crovin's POV

This was going about as bad as anything else has gone since the so-called Demon Alpha announced his emergence back in the region.

Everyone was trying to take advantage of it, but I didn't see it.

I couldn't bring myself to understand why he was regarded with such reverence, like he was a natural disaster.

Even worse, he was giving me problems unlike anything I had ever felt.

Especially since his presence seems to have awakened a band of bastards calling themselves Outlanders.

Those bastards were more sinister than I initially attributed to them. They used power that was beyond anything the goddess would have granted.

They used things that were called the undead and have been doing their best to claim territory and include even more in their armies.

There were myths about the Demon Alpha being immortal, but these bastards seemed to believe it a lot more than others do. They seem to be intent on finding ways to kill the Alpha, and since they fear him so terribly, the
