Took Emily a few days to recover and now, she was back at it again.

Emily raced to her car and pulled out her phone. She had to call Ethan and tell him everything. He was her only hope, and she knew he would be able to help her.

"Ethan, I need your help," Emily said, her voice shaking.

"What's wrong?" Ethan asked, his voice filled with concern.

"I've been working with a gang to find out about my mother, but they want me to kill someone," Emily explained. "I can't do it, but I don't want to betray them either. I need to come up with a plan to bring the rival gang member to them instead."
