Aiden’s POV:

“You bloody…” I said to Dylan as he answered the call.

“Hello, Mr. Kevin” Dylan said and smiled. What a hanger-on! I thought while looking at him in frustration.

“Hello Dylan… Is Aaron there?” Mr. Kevin asked. I gestured him to say no but he had some other evil plans for me.

“Of course, Mr. Kevin. He’s sitting right next to me” Dylan said, making my blood boil and handed over the phone to me.

I reluctantly took the phone and added, “Hello dad”

“Aiden… Where’s your phone?” He asked.

“Um…” I started and looked at Dylan who was pointing his fingers to my phone.

“Right here” Lucas whispered from the couch opposite to me and they all started chuckling.

I looked at them angrily and added, “Um… dad, it’s – it’s in my room. What happened?”

“Nothing serious but I was calling you but you didn’t pick up so I called Dylan” Dad said.

“Oh… Why were you calling?” I asked.

“I wanted to ask you about how your first day was at this new school” Dad said.
