CAHM!!! So Emily is back in the school and it’s the second day. What will happen now? Will Aiden and Emily meet? Will Emily attend the Welcome party? Keep reading to find out.
Emily’s POV: I gulped and tilted my face up to look at the owner of those shoes. I saw Aiden Bryce standing there in front of me, looking at me intensely with his eyes locked upon me. “Um…” I got nervous and began to put my books back in the bag, hastily while my hands shivered in between. I grabbed and picked up my bag in my hand while looking at Aiden but didn’t realize that I was holding the bag upside down until when all my books slipped down all again making me want to bang my head on the wall. I widened my eyes on the floor and looked at Aiden who looked back at me and rolled his eyes at me. I wanted to give a reaction but decided not to mess with him again and restrained myself from provoking him. I looked down at the books messed up on the floor and then looked back at him to see if he was going to help me this time. To my surprise, his friends stepped forward and bent down a little but were stopped by Aiden as he lifted his hand up in their way. They stopped then and there a
Emily’s POV: I closed my eyes and thought for a while about the mess I had created. I opened my eyes and then looked at everyone in the class. As my eyes moved to Melissa, she looked at me and shook her head as if trying to tell me that I did something wrong. She rested her elbow on the desk and threw her head in her hand. I gulped and then moved my eyes next to Melissa where Aiden was sitting. He slowly turned his face to the right and then to the back to look at me. My eyes got wide open and I skipped a beat. I lost my hold on the pencil in my hand and it dropped down on the floor while I kept looking at Aiden as his fierce eyes were locked on me. “Yes? Emily? Would you like to correct him?” Miss Leah asked politely but instead of correcting him, I kept looking at him. “Emily?” Miss Leah spoke again and I came back there. “Yeah – yeah…” I said while blinking my eyes several times and breathing heavily. “Would you like to correct Aiden?” Miss Leah asked. “Don’t do that” I heard
Emily’s POV: I looked up and saw Aiden looking at me with his eyes wide open in vexation. I could feel the wrath around me. His menacing looks grew fiercer as he stared at me and started walking towards me breathing heavily in anger. I could hear the howl in his voice because I made his hackles rise and I knew it. I started moving backwards while breathing heavily in fear. “You…” Aiden started furiously. “I – I…” I started but skipped a beat and couldn’t speak. “I didn’t…” I added and a tear formed in my eye. I saw the blonde one, Dylan picking up Aiden’s phone and checking it. “Aiden…” Dylan stepped forward and said. “Dylan...” Aiden started and held his hand up in the air. “Just keep quiet, Dylan” He added while moving towards me with his eyes filled with rage locked on me. “Listen to me…” I started and gulped. “You little mess… I am going to…” Aiden said angrily and moved abruptly towards me making me gasp for air and move back when Melissa and Oliver came there to my rescue
Emily’s POV: Melissa and I walked to my house and on the way we prated about different things. She didn’t try alluding to the things happened that day and didn’t even mention Aiden’s name once. I was relieved when I saw my house door because I was yearning to throw myself on the bed and shut my eyes tightly and try to efface out all the stress out of my body and beat a hasty retreat from disquietude. The feeling when you are home is gratifying and soothing. I knew that there was no one in my house and I was about to be on my own in there but still I had a feeling of relief that I would be safe in there. Even if I wouldn’t be safe, I would at least get to die in my own house. It would be a satisfactory death. No? After obliterating all the fatal thoughts from my mind, I turned to Melissa and took a deep breath before saying anything. “Bye, Mel. Thank you for being there for me always” I said and held her hands firmly. “Really? Now you are going to thank me about that?” Melissa said r
Aiden’s POV: “Aiden… What’s wrong with you?” Dylan got restless and immediately ordered the servant to clear up the mess I created. “Dylan… Do not piss me off by talking about her” I said bitterly. “Aiden… you need to talk about her. Why is she getting on your nerves? Why is she bothering you so much?” Dylan raised his voice a little. “Yes. Why can’t you just ignore her?” Mason asked me. “How can I ignore her?” I shouted and stood up from the couch. “I tried. Okay? You guys told me to forgive her and I did. But she does not deserve to be forgiven. She deserves to be tortured and tormented” I added. “Aiden… You are over reacting over a small thing” Dylan accused me. “Really? Am I? If you think so then fine. I am over reacting and I will continue to react over her tactics which she, by the way, is doing deliberately” I shouted. “How are you so sure about that?” Dylan defended her. “I am sure about that. She is one of those kind of girls who try to act silly and innocent to get c
Emily’s POV: As my hand hit the bed side table, I squeezed my eyes and then swung them open, letting the sunshine kiss my cheeks and soothe me all over. Smiling brightly, I stretched my hands and legs, letting all the worries and stress to slip down from my body and leave me. But it came running back and hit me, making me open my eyes wide. I breathed heavily and thought about the day. I thought about how Aiden would behave that day and whether he would forgive me for his phone. Although I knew his phone was all okay and he was just over reacting over a small matter just to torment me and I don’t know why he was doing all that to me. I couldn’t get his behavior. May be he is in some kind of personal stress or whatever which he is trying to let out on me because he met me on the first day. But even if it is the reason then it is not okay to let your frustration out on someone else without any actual reason. I thought. Taking a deep breath, I got up from the bed and headed to my bathro
Emily’s POV: “I am telling you, Mel, he gave me a cold stare when Ryan announced the welcome party. He has something on his mind. I am sure” I whispered to Melissa as our history class got over and we were heading to the library. “Em… You are thinking too much. May be he was just looking at you like that. Not a stare” Melissa said. “No, Mel. That was not just a look. It was a cold stare. Very cold. And evil, too” I said as we walked to the left corridor where the library was located. “Okay. I believe you. So now what are you trying to say then?” Melissa asked me. “So I am saying that I won’t be coming to this party” I said as we entered in the library. “What? Are you insane?” Melissa said out loud. “Excuse me, girls?” Miss Claire, our librarian said. “Keep your voices down, you are in a library, don’t you know that?” She added. “Of course we know Miss Claire” Melissa said and gave a fake smile to her. I wanted to laugh at how she acted and gave the most fakest smile to her but
Emily’s POV: All the students began to look outside the class to see who the new senior was. Apparently, the girls were hoping to see a new guy while the guys were hoping to see a new chic. I was anxious to see who that guy or girl was because my previous experience with the new seniors was not good. “Please welcome our new senior, your new classmate” Mr. Colton said and stretched his hand to his right to allow the new student to come in. To my surprise, a girl entered in, shattering the excitement of all the girls in the class. “Miss Aria Logan, a transferred student from Greenwich High school, Houston” Mr. Colton said. Houston? From where Aiden and his friends came? Yes I am sure! I thought as I watched the girl walking to middle of the class. She looked like someone whom I can talk to and be friends with because she looked nervous and timid. She wasn’t much confident on her entrance. Aria has a beautiful almond brown skin tone which shined magnificently and looked bewitching with
