Locked in a Cell

Pain.

Anguish.

Misery.

Soreness.

That's all Claire felt. The guards that were assigned to torture her walked out and locked the cell, leaving her all bruised and beaten. Her left eye was slightly swollen, she could tell from the soreness in it.

Her clothes were torn as they stripped her of her dignity. Leaving her in only her underwear. Her back had long, deep slashes after being flogged. She lost count of how many times they whipped her after reaching thirty. Her pale skin had turned red.

Her mind was numb as she curled herself into a dark corner of the cell that smelled of dried rotten blood. Her lips were trembling as tears streamed down her face, strands of her red hair blurred her vision.

Her back stung as she choked on a sob. She's been locked in the cell for almost two days with little to no food. She could have easily escaped from the cell, the idea was really tempting, but she knew that was a risk she wasn't willing to take. If Alpha Darius or anyone should find out what she really was, they wouldn't hesitate to slit her throat off.

Someone unlocked the cell and walked in, it was too dark to see who it was. But she knew whoever it was didn't come to save her from this pit of hell.

“I see you are really getting comfortable here. Maybe I should perhaps send you to the dark room?” Alpha Darius' voice spoke as he finally came out of the shadows. He smiled sadistically as he approached her, he leaned down to her height and lifted her chin to meet his evil gaze.

The dark room was where rogues were tortured and killed. Everyone in the pack dreaded being locked up there and she wasn't excluded. Once a pack member that worked with the enemy pack, was brutally killed when Alpha Darius found out about his betrayal.

Claire shuddered as his cold hands touched her chin. She was too weak to fight back as he squeezed her chin painfully. His eyes gleamed as he saw her flinch in pain.

“My men will torture you. When I'm done with you, you will never think about escaping this pack, omega.” He threatened with a snarl as his eyes turned black.

He dragged his fingers down to the bruise on her cheek. His touch made her skin crawl as she trashed around him, but her body was too weak to fight back.

Without thinking, she spat in his face. His eyes looked murderous and he smacked her right cheek hard. She screamed as she bit the inside of her cheek, blood was already dripping from her lips.

“You filthy bïtch! How dare you?!” He pulled her hair roughly and as he was about to land a punch on her face, they were interrupted by a pack guard.

The guard looked panicked. “A-alpha. We are under attack! T-the dark moon pack…” Alpha Darius' eyes widened in horror.

“T-the t-twin Alphas? B-but we never crossed paths with them. What could possibly…” Realization filled his eyes as he turned to me, his mouth dropped open in terror. He gulped as he looked around in panic, he glared at the trembling guard. “What are you still waiting for?! I didn't hire you as my guard for nothing, g-go stop them!” He ordered shakily.

Claire's heart soared at the thought of her mates coming for her. Her skin tingled as if aware of their presence, even her wolf that had been silent for a couple of hours was beaming with joy.

'Mates have come to save us.' She purred quietly, obviously still weak from the pain we had to endure.

Just as the guard and Alpha Darius were about to run out, the door was removed off its hinges and her mates and wolves stepped into the pack's cell with a loud growl. Her mates were not in their wolf form but his warriors were in their wolf form, waiting for the order to attack by their Alphas.

The wolves' mouths were filled with fresh blood as they let out a snarl. It wasn't directed at her but that didn't stop her from whimpering from the corner. Her mates eyes snapped towards her at the sound and they growled as they saw the bruises littered on her skin. She curled herself into a ball, her mates weren't supposed to see her like this, all beaten and bruised, she felt disgusted with herself.

“You hurt her?” Callan's voice sounded strained as if fighting to keep himself together.

“You dare touch our mate?” Cameron growled, as his heated eyes pierced into Alpha Darius' soul.

Alpha Darius looked between the both of them, fear crossed his features. “Now now, Alpha Cameron and Alpha Callan, we can settle this amicably. There's been a misunderstanding…”

“Misunderstanding?! Did I hear you say misunderstanding?! You hit our mate and you call it a misunderstanding?” Callan shouted angrily.

“You need to understand that she lied to me, her Alpha. T-there would be consequences for such an act, I had to teach her a lesson. I-I didn't know she was your mate.” He tried to sound firm but one couldn't miss the way his voice wobbled.

“A lesson? You did a really great job, Darius,” Cameron took a threatening step towards him. “Now, why don't we teach you a lesson too?” Cameron added with an evil smirk.

Before Alpha Darius could register what he said, he landed a swift punch on his jaw. Alpha Darius screamed and fell to the floor cradling his broken jaw, he spit out blood from his mouth. He was about to get up from the floor, when Callan kicked his shin, he doubled over in pain, but they weren't done yet.

Claire watched in shock as her mates ordered their pack wolves to deal with him. They walked over to her and she trembled in shame, her mates shouldn't see her in that condition.

“You're fine now, little mate. We got you.” They cooed and ran their hands through her red curls. She felt overwhelmed by their affection and sobbed on their chest.
