The Vision

“So, how did it go?” Elena asked, trying to gauge out the expression on her best friend's face.

When Claire didn't say anything, her mouth turned down sadly. “I guess we aren't wearing any ball gowns.” She said, shaking her head in disappointment.

Claire's mouth broke into a face splitting grin as she jumped on her bed excitedly. “They agreed! They fucking agreed!” She said, fist pumping the air.

Elena's eyes twinkled. “Really?! You're the fucking best, Claire!” She squealed, throwing her arms and squeezing her into an excited hug.

“But on one condition though. We have to take four pack guards with us. Including Robert.”

“Well, that's no big deal! We can totally tolerate Robert's grumpy ass for a couple of hours! We're going to have so much fun!”

“You got that, babe.” Claire said with a wink.

“So, how did you do it?” Elena asked in curiosity.

“Do, what?”

“How were you able to convince the Alphas to let you go?”
