Aria’s POV

Scared is all I feel right now.

Damn, what should I do? I kept on checking if he already got home, but still, he hasn't arrived.

I glanced at Anna. She's not herself right now. I approached her, but she walked through her room. What is she doing?

She's starting to pack her things. Damn it, this is all my fault.

“Anna, you don't have to pack your things. I told you, everything’s gonna be okay,” I told her while standing at her door. But she didn't listen.

“How can I be so sure, Mrs. Montez? I saw you keep on looking outside, scared,” she uttered. I gulped. She really noticed that.

“I told you, I will talk to him. Don't you trust me? I am Mrs. Montez, he's my husband.” I tried to talk in a normal way, though I am not sure what will be his reaction once he finds out.

Then I heard a car outside. I froze, unable to move. Anna immediately ran outside to open the gate.
