Chapter 6

Violet's pov 

"Wake up princess, it is morning already." I heard the same voice that wakes me up everyday but I did my best to ignore it 

"Princess wake up! You will be late for breakfast." That voice said again 

"Margaret, please let me sleep. I am tired,"I whined and covered my face with the comforter while snuggling more in my soft pillow 

" Prince is waiting for you, he will teach you sword fighting from today, remember? "Margaret said and I sat up immediately 

I started rubbing my eyes to get rid of the sleep. I totally forgot about this, I am starting my training today. 

Oops sorry I did not give you my introduction. I am Violet Maxwell. The princess of Dune kingdom I am 16 years old and loved by everyone. No one can hate me ever because I am lovable. 

I stay with my twin brother and father. They are my only family. My mother has become a star in the sky and I talk to that star everyday. 

 I stay inside the castle only because so many monsters are there who can capture me and eat me as their meal. 

I am scared of those monsters very much. I am not that tasty as well but still they will eat me to feed themselves 

And I do not want to become their meal. 

And I am not a late sleeper but yesterday I was reading a book till late night. It is so interesting that I could not stop myself but still I could not finish it. I am eager to finish it and mostly I will do that today. 

I did a happy dance in my mind thinking about finishing the book today. 

The book is about love, true love, how love changes a person's life completely for the better. The girl was not truly happy in her life until she got her one true love, her soul mate and after getting him everything is so magical in her life but as always there are bad guys as well who wants to separate them but i am sure they will not be separated from each other if they get separated then I will cry very much. 

"princess? What are you thinking?" Margaret asked me and I hit my forehead 

I am so dumb here Margaret is waiting for me and I am day dreaming about that book. 

Stupid Violet! Always get lost in your dream world. Huh! 

I scolded myself mentally 

"Nothing important, please prepare my bath," I told her and she nodded her head mutely 

She left from there and I got up from the bed and stretched my body to get rid of my laziness. 

I am becoming lazy day by day as I have practically nothing to do. I have finished my dancing, singing and drawing course already. I am well educated as well. 

And now I am bored, even after doing everything my whole day was never fully occupied anyways. 

That is the reason I asked Theo to teach me how to use a sword . I will not be bored and will do some workout as well. Because I hate working out so it will be a good way to workout 

Smart idea I know! 

I took a bath with the help of Margaret and other maids who are my friends rather than maids. 

Margaret is in her mid forties and she has taken care of me from the day I took birth here and she stays with me always like my shadow. 

I am accustomed to people following me from my childhood but sometimes I feel irritated. 

Never for once have I gone somewhere alone. I do not know what staying alone means. 

Margaret stays in my room and always sleeps beside my bed where her bed is. 

And even while bathing Margaret and others will be with me. 

I have so many friends with me but still I do not like anything around and get bored. 

I wish to go out but again I do not wish to become a monster's food. 

I wish someday my prince my soul mate will come and take me with him and kill all the monsters so I can roam around freely. 

I dream about my soul mate as well. I wonder when he will come? I wish to meet him soon but I do not want to leave my father and Theo as well. I love them very much. 

I will ask my soul mate to stay here with me, we will never leave Dune. Then I will be with everyone. Sounds like a great plan to me. 

"Princess, which dress do you wish to wear?" Lucy asked showing me a lots of dresses 

Again I have to choose from the multiple new dresses I have. I never repeated a dress that I wore in my life once. I wear a new dress everyday. Not my wish but my father wants me to do that so I do. 

My father treats me like I am some fragile doll and I love it because he loves me the most more than Theo and I love to rub it on his face because he becomes angry and his face turns red completely. 

I giggled imagining it and decided to wear a peach colour gown for today. 

Lucy and Kiera did my hair and made me wear a few accessories. 

And I am ready for today. I went downstairs and found Theo and Father discussing something but they stopped when I reached there. 

"Good morning father and Theo" I greeted them and sat beside Theo 

"Good morning Violet." They greeted me in unison 

"So why are you late today princess?" Theo asked me knowing very well that father does not like us to be late for our meals and we all eat together always 

"Umm I was confused between my dresses as you know I am a girl who has a variety of clothes of multiple colours unlike someone who just wears white. So I got late." I replied with a sweet smile 

"Do not disturb your sister Theodore, she just came to eat." Father said sternly and I poked my tongue in front of him as once again he was scolded for disturbing me 

"you my dear you will be ready on time and no late night stories. Your health is more important than that. Do whatever you want during the day , not at night." Father said and I pouted and my shameless brother flashed me an evil smile

"I will be on time from now," I mumbled lowly 

I do not like when he behaves strictly with me. 

"Today my princess will receive a beautiful gift from her father. Be the good girl you are and get it." Father said and I smiled 

Maybe he will let me go out? Maybe? 

I do not know but I am excited for my gift. 

"Now eat fast we need to start practising as well. You do not even know how to hold a sword do you?" Theo asked me knowing well that I do not know 

Meanie! 

"Theo behave!" Father said and I smiled again and decided to eat as I am really hungry and have a long day ahead
