Chapter 10

Violet's pov 

"Are you fine princess?" I heard Margaret asking me 

Her voice is faint but I can understand what she is saying. 

I felt a sharp pain in my head when I tried to open my eyes. What is wrong with me? 

"Princess!" She again said and I slowly opened my eyes 

"Yes!" I replied weakly 

"Are you fine? What happened to you? When I came here to check on you I found you unconscious on the ground. Are you sick?" Margaret asked with concern and I tried to remember what happened 

Then it hit me. I remembered everything that had happened. 

"I am fine Margaret, I was just weak, nothing else. No need to inform his Majesty about this." I told her 

"Are you fine princess? You never address king like this." Margaret said and I looked at Blossom who was staring at me 

"Um, I just felt like calling him that. You go and bring chocolates for me. I want to have them." I told her and she nodded her head 

"Do not inform father about this please!" I begged her in my usual way and she sighed but nodded 

After she left I locked the door and turned around to see Blossom there. 

"Princess, we can not let anyone know that You are out of that spell now, you need to act like you are still under it. Your mature behaviour is risky." she told me and with this I have another question in my mind 

"Tell me one thing, Blossom , why are you helping me? What will you get from this? And if father has planned everything so well then how come he does not know about you being a magical creature yet? He must have checked well before giving you to me did not he? "I asked her 

" You are absolutely correct princess. He checked everything but I somehow tricked him and I have no gain in this princess. What can I have from this? I am a creature of God just like you. God could not see the misery you are in. You are trapped in your castle like a prisoner without doing anything and top of that your brain was underdeveloped because of that pendant so he sent me here to end your misery. Now I can go as I am done. Bye princess! "Blossom said and started walking away from me 

" Hey wait! Where are you going? I did not ask you to leave me Blossom. You helped me with everything. Because of you I can now think properly and can understand everything. My father caged me for God knows why and I will ask him that someday for sure but not now. Let him think I am not aware of anything. "I told her 

" You wear your pendant back princess, the spell is gone. It will not affect you any more. "Blossom said and I wore it back 

" Blossom I want to see the outside world. I want to roam around and feel everything. Enough of this caged life. "I told her and she nodded 

Soon Margaret knocked on the door and I had to open it. 

" Here is your chocolate princess. "Margaret said and handed me varieties of chocolates 

I sat on the bed immediately with the chocolates. No matter how much I grow up I will always love chocolates. 

" Eat slowly princess, it is all yours! "Margaret said and I blushed in embarrassment 

Things I used to do before are too embarrassing. This is not done! Margaret has stayed with me my whole life and I have embarrassed myself an uncountable number of times in front of her and others. 

Theo knows everything but still i used to behave like mentally challenged girl who has a body grown up but brain of a child's. 

"Margaret, can I stay in my room alone from now on please?" I asked her and she looked surprised 

She should be because I never stayed alone in my room. 

"Why princess? Did I do something wrong?" she asked me fearfully thinking what she has done 

"No! I have read in a book that big girls stay alone in their room. They do not get scared at night. That is the reason I want to stay alone." I told her making her believe that I said that because of a book 

"But princess, I stay with you for your safety. How can I leave you?" she asked me not ready to leave 

I am sorry Margaret but you need to leave my room. 

"I will talk to my father about it. Tell him that I wish to meet him." I told her and she left to take father's permission 

"Blossom, do you know why Father lied to me all this time? What was the reason that he kept me here?" I asked her 

"Because he hates you princess! He does not show that but he hates you. After your and your brother's birth a prophecy was given by the witches that no one knows. That says you are the reason for your mother's death because you have some different kind of powers then anyone and because of power one day you can destroy everything. That is the reason he caged you here and made you like a 6 year old so you will never know about your powers or use them. You are special princess and you deserve the best. You need to learn about so many things. Love and the relationship between a man and a woman. Physical love and many things. I will tell you everything slowly. "Blossom said 

" What do you mean About physical love? "I asked as I did not understood what she meant 

" Physical love means mating with a male princess. The process of making babies princess when I will tell you then you will understand. You are 16 and you should be aware of everything. "Blossom said and my instincts said it is not something I will like to hear 

Why do I need to know about the baby making process wait what? Baby making process? 

The realisation left me as a blushing mess. I do not know exactly what it is but I am feeling shy already. 

This will not be easy for me at all!

"Stop, I can not listen anymore!" I covered my ears Blossom was explaining things to me 

The baby making process is very bad. I felt like digging a hole in the ground and hide inside 

This is embarrassing! 

"Why princess? You will do this with your Prince, will you not?" she asked and I can feel she is laughing on me 

"No I will not!" I replied turning around 

What I had thought about my prince charming and staying with him Is nothing like the living and doing Blossom explained 

I never thought babies were made like this. I thought they were given by fairies to the willing couples. 

" I will be here only when you will get married to your Prince charming, then I will see what you do," Blossom said and before I can reply Father entered my room 

I stilled in my place not knowing how to react. He has lied to me throughout my 16 years of life and he hates me as well. 

Then why the facade of love for me? Just why? 

" How are you my heart?" he asked me in his usual cheery voice 

Everyday his words used to make me happy but today I felt nothing for a moment. I felt like lashing out at my father and asking him why he did this with me but then I needed to calm myself down and act like nothing happened. Because I need to know everything about myself and my powers..

Once I know I will confront him for sure. 

"I am fine father! You tell me how are you? You did not visit me earlier, why?" I asked him in my innocent voice just like I used to 

"I am really sorry my beautiful princess. I was busy with some work but now I am here for my star! I was not fine before but now I am." He said and I so wished that it was true 

"my star you asked Margaret to not stay with you anymore is it true?" he asked when I was lost In my thoughts and did not replied before 

"Yes father, I want to stay alone in my room as I am a big girl now. I have read it that the girls who are strong and big they stay alone. I can not fight the monsters but I can stay alone like a big girl can I not?" I asked him giving him the satisfaction of me being still the same Violet 

He became quiet for some time but nodded nevertheless, making me smile. 

" But you will let her check on you. I do not want you to stay alone and get scared . I want you to be happy but not in exchange of getting scared." He said and I so wanted to roll my eyes at his words 

How can he be so good at acting? 

"Yes father, do not worry I will not be scared. Blossom is with me as well." I said pointing towards Blossom 

"You love your pet so much is not it my star?" he asked and I nodded picking Blossom up 

"Of course you gifted me her, I will love her. She is the one who showed me your real face" I said to him omitting the last part 

"I am hungry, father , let's eat. From tomorrow I will start my sword practice. I want to use a sword like you and Theo do." I told him and his facial expressions changed 

"No! You will not, I have told you before as well." He said angrily but I will not back off this time 

"I want to father. I get bored of staying here and have nothing to do. I want to learn it and I will learn it if you do not let me then I will go to Theo and stay there only with him." I told him and he shook his head 

"Your brother is feeding you wrong things and I need to handle him, it seems." He said and I felt angry very much 

"Theo has done nothing father, he did not say anything to me. I just want to learn something. Is it wrong to ask?" I asked him with anger 

 "Calm down my heart! I will arrange someone for you to teach you." He said and I smiled in Victory 

"Thank you Father! Now we will eat. Let's go. I want to eat outside in the garden today." I said and dragged him with me outside.
