Ashira's POV

I paled when his face looked playful, a bit sarcastic. I let my back leaned more to the bedrest, praying it would suck me away from his burning gaze.

My eyes drifted somewhere else, anything but those mesmerizing and sarcastic golden brown eyes which gravitate the pull I'm having right now.

"You don't want to be with me, right? So just take the other room while you lock me in here." the last words lingered my tongue, emphasizing it because he seems to forget.
