MAYA

I sat in the front row of the pretty garden chairs with my hands folded tight in my lap. The flowers smelled sweet all around me and the sun was shining down on everything like it was trying to make the day perfect. My mom looked so beautiful in her white dress as she stood under the big garden arch covered in green leaves and white roses. She was smiling so wide that her eyes were shining with happy tears. Daniel stood next to her looking tall and strong in his nice black suit. His voice was deep and steady when he said his promises about loving her and taking care of our family forever. I was only seventeen then and my heart felt all mixed up inside like a big storm of feelings I could not sort out. I was happy for my mom because she had been lonely for so long and now she looked like she had found something real. But at the same time a heavy uneasy feeling sat in my stomach because this man was coming into our lives and changing everything. Daniel was fifteen years older than me and he seemed so commanding like he already knew how the world should work. I watched him slip the ring on my mom's finger and something inside me felt scared and resistant all at once.

The words they said to each other made everyone clap and cheer but I just sat there trying to smile like I was supposed to. My mind kept racing with questions about what this would mean for me. Would he try to tell me what to do all the time? Our old life had been messy and loud and free with just me and mom figuring things out together. Now there was this quiet powerful man who looked like he expected order and rules. I felt a little tug of jealousy mixed with guilt because I wanted my mom to be happy but I did not want to lose the way things used to be. The music played soft and happy as they kissed and I clapped along with everyone else even though my hands felt shaky. People started standing up and moving toward the big white tent for the reception. I walked slowly behind them feeling the soft grass under my shoes and wondering if Daniel would notice how unsure I was. The whole day felt like it was moving too fast like I could not catch my breath. Deep down I hoped maybe it would all be okay but the unease would not go away no matter how hard I tried to push it down.

At the reception the lights twinkled in the trees and music played from a small band in the corner. Tables were full of pretty food and flowers and everyone was laughing and talking loudly. I stood near the edge holding a glass of punch and watching my mom dance with Daniel. She looked so light on her feet like all her worries had floated away. I tried to feel glad for her but my chest felt tight with all the new changes coming. Then I saw Daniel walking toward me through the crowd with a gentle smile on his face. He stopped right in front of me and his tall shadow fell over me making me feel small. His eyes were kind but there was something strong behind them that made my heart beat a little faster. I held my breath waiting for what he would say because this felt like the real start of everything new.

"Maya, I know this change is sudden for you," he said in his calm deep voice. "I'm not here to replace anyone or take away what you had with your mom. I just want to build a strong family together with both of you. We can take it one step at a time if that helps."

I looked up at him and forced a polite smile even though my insides were twisting. His words sounded nice and careful but they still made me feel like everything was slipping out of my control. I nodded slowly trying to find the right thing to say without sounding rude. The music and laughter around us felt far away like we were in our own little bubble. I could smell his clean cologne and see how steady his shoulders were. Part of me wanted to run away and hide but another part knew I had to try for my mom's sake. The tension sat heavy in my throat as I searched for words. I did not want to hurt his feelings on their special day but the resistance inside me was loud.

"Thank you for saying that," I answered softly trying to keep my voice steady. "Mom looks really happy today. I want her to stay that way. It's just... our life was always a little crazy before and now things will be different with you here."

Daniel nodded like he understood but his eyes stayed on mine in that careful way. He put a light hand on my shoulder for just a moment and it felt warm and heavy at the same time. "I understand it's not easy. You've been through a lot already. But I promise I'll be fair and I'll always listen if you need to talk. We're in this together now as a family."

His words hung in the air between us and I felt a strange mix of comfort and worry. No one had ever spoken to me with that kind of quiet authority before. It made me feel safe in one way but also trapped in another. I smiled again and said I would try my best to make it work. Inside my head though the thoughts would not stop spinning. What if he turned out to be too strict? What if I could not be the good girl he probably wanted? The party kept going with people coming over to congratulate them but I stayed close to the edge feeling the pull of old life and new life fighting inside me. The sun started to go down and the lights glowed warmer as the evening stretched on. I watched Daniel dance with my mom again and saw how protective he looked holding her. It was nice but it also made me wonder where I would fit in all this new order he was bringing. My heart felt heavy with emotions I could not name yet. Joy for my mom. Fear of the unknown. And a tiny spark of curiosity about this tall man who had just become my stepfather.

As the night went on I sat at one of the tables picking at my cake and thinking about all the changes waiting at home. Daniel came by again later when the music slowed down. He sat down next to me and we talked a little more about school and my friends. His questions were gentle but they showed he wanted to know the real me. I answered carefully feeling both seen and studied at the same time. The tension never fully left my shoulders that night. Every smile I gave hid the storm of feelings underneath. I wanted to believe his promises but part of me was already getting ready to push back if things got too strict. The wedding day ended with hugs and goodbyes and my mom looking happier than ever as she left with Daniel. I rode home with my aunt feeling quiet and full of thoughts. That day marked the beginning of something big in my life.

Aveline The library smelled like old paper and cold air. The carpet ate our steps. Even the lights felt quiet. Professor Xavier signed us in at the desk like nothing in the world was wrong. Faculty. Research assistant. I stood beside him with my bag and tried to look like a girl who only came here to work. For almost an hour we did work. We pulled boxes. We opened folders. We took pictures of letters and lists and tiny notes written by people who were long dead. He spoke to me in his normal professor voice. I answered in my normal student voice. My hands shook only when he stood too close.Under my skirt I had nothing on. Every time I sat or bent or reached for a box, I felt it. Air. Wet. Last night still in my body. I kept my knees together and prayed nobody could tell.“Box twelve,” he said at last. “Restricted stacks. Come.”We walked past the main tables. Past the glass. Past the attendant who barely looked up. The restricted stacks were a narrow aisle between high shelves. The c

AvelineI woke up late on purpose, or maybe he let me. The room was still dim. The curtains were only half closed. I felt the ache between my legs from last night and I felt him sitting on the edge of the bed like he had been watching me sleep.“Good morning, Aveline,” he said. “Office hours started without you.”I sat up slowly. My mouth was dry. My heart was already going too fast.On the desk there was a small black bag I had not seen last night. He opened it like it was normal. Soft rope. A dark silk scarf. A slim vibrator I knew. I had told him about that toy in a late message I should never have sent. My face went hot.“You brought that,” I whispered.“I listen,” he said. “Even when you pretend it was only talk.”He stood up and pulled the covers off me. I was still naked. He looked at me the way he looked at a draft he meant to mark.“Today you are the graduate student who stayed after hours,” he said. “You did not leave when you should have. Now you belong in my temporary clas

Aveline The hotel door shut hard behind us. My bag hit the floor. His bag hit the floor. I did not even get one full breath before Professor Xavier pushed me against the door. His mouth was on my neck. His hands were on my waist. I could feel how hard he already was. “You have been looking at me like that for weeks,” he said against my skin. “Do not lie. I saw it in class. I saw it in my office. I am done pretending this is only school.” My heart was going too fast. I had thought about this so many times that it felt like a dream and a scare at the same time. “Professor—” “Good,” he said. “That is the only name you use this weekend. Say it again.” “Professor.” He kissed me then. It was not soft. It was hungry. His tongue was in my mouth and his body pinned me to the door so I could not move even if I wanted to. He started on my blouse. Button by button. He watched my face the whole time, like he was grading me. “Look at me,” he said. “Do not hide.” The blouse opened. He pu

Vera The studio was quiet again after hours. Uncle Ryan had set up the big mirrors so I could see myself from every side. A screen sat on a table playing the videos he had taken of us. The first one was already on. It was me in this same room, the night he took my first time. I stood there naked, my heart beating hard. He came up behind me and put his hands on my hips. “Look at the screen,” he said. “Then look in the mirror. Tell me what you see.” I watched the video. The girl on the screen was shaking while he pushed inside her. Her face was red. She was crying a little. In the mirror I saw the same girl now, but different. My body knew what was coming. “I see… me,” I said. “The first night. I look scared.” “You were,” he said. “Now you’re not. Watch.” He bent me forward a little so I faced both the mirror and the screen. He rubbed his cock against my pussy. I was already wet. He pushed in slow. I watched it happen in the mirror—his body behind mine, my mouth opening. “Describe

Vera We were at a gallery opening the next week. Lots of people in nice clothes looking at pictures on the walls. Soft music played. Uncle Ryan had his camera bag with him like always. I wore a simple black dress. My heart beat fast the whole time because I knew what was in that bag. He stood close while we looked at a big painting. His voice was quiet so only I could hear. “Remember the photo from the studio? The one where you’re bent over the table, crying a little, my cock stretching you for the first time. I have it right here.” My face got hot. “Daddy… not here. There are so many people.” He didn’t look at me. He just smiled at the painting. “You agreed. Those pictures are our secret leash. If you say no, I don’t have to keep them private. You don’t want that, do you?” I swallowed. “No, Daddy. I don’t.” “Then be good.” He took my hand and led me toward a quieter corner behind a tall display. People were still close, talking and laughing, but this spot was darker. He opened t

VeraThe cabin sat by itself in the trees with snow all around it. No other houses. No cars. Just the quiet and the cold. Uncle Ryan parked and we went inside. The fire was already going. He locked the door and looked at me.“Take everything off,” he said. “We’re alone now. No one can hear you. No one can walk in.”I pulled my clothes off slow. The air inside was warm but I still shivered. He took my hand and led me to the big window. Frost covered the glass. He pressed my bare breasts against it.The cold hit like a slap. I gasped and tried to pull back. He held me there.“Stay,” he said. “Feel it. Let the cold wake you up.”My nipples went hard against the ice. It burned in a strange way. He stood behind me and reached between my legs. His fingers found me already wet.“Even the cold makes you drip,” he said. “Dirty girl. You like this, don’t you?”“It’s so cold, Daddy,” I whispered. “It hurts a little.”“Good. That’s the point.” He opened the door a crack and scooped a handful of s
